absolutely the WORST apple store I have ever been to. I am trying to recycle a brand new ipad air 2 and it has been the biggest headache ever. I was told over the phone by an apple support staff member that I could go into any apple store to do this. I go to the store and the person that works at this location tells me I cannot do it in the store and I need to process this online via apples recycle website through brightstar. I try to submit my information in about 7 or 8 times and it keeps bringing me back to the login page so it will not complete the order. I call apple again and let them know this is happening. They tell me that they aren't sure why the person in the Stamford location told me I could not recycle/trade in the product in the store. I asked them to contact the Stamford store and verify with them this could be done before I went back, the woman then transferred me over to someone directly at the Stamford location. I spoke with a man who tried to assist me with completing the order online. The order didn't go through again while I was on the phone with him. He then instructs me to "come into the store and we will work something out for you if it still doesn't you work after we do it in the store." I go back to the apple store AGAIN and they make me log in and type all of the information on my ipad again and again it does the same thing, gets all the way to the end to accept terms and conditions and then bounces back to the login page. I explained to them the situation and everything that had happened and what the man in the store had told me over the phone and they proceed to say there's nothing they could do to help me...WHAT A JOKE! What a massive waste of my time, and to THINK that I was going to purchase a thousand dollar computer from them today!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and worst customer service I have ever ever received. If you are purchasing items over $500 you would think apple would hire people that are accommodating and have better policies. Not ones where you are told 35 different things and have you running all over the place. My company uses this location for all of our employees phones, ipads & products and I will make sure they NEVER go back there ever again. Apple has left a bad taste in my mouth. Corporate needs to fix this ASAP and the people in the Stamford store should...
   Read moreI usually don't do reviews but I find it imperative that I do, for so often we're quick to note and share the negative but never the positive , even if it's after a negative. Today was an interesting day. I give 5 stars for Jason and Brian. I'm giving them 5 stars after what felt like. -10 experience. I had an unfortunate experience when I was in the store , no need to dwell deep into it but it concerned my experience with an associate who worked their. He was far from what I'm sure Apple strives for in their culture, and the individuals they hire to represent them. ( I actually wondered how he made it through the process) everybody has a bad day but he was beyond so. Let's just say I felt like sh*# honestly. Because I don't think people should even treat people the way he treated me, and it was unnecessary and uncalled for, to meet kindness with dismissiveness and down right disrespect is horrible . So why the 5 stars? Because instead of approaching the associate I asked to speak with the manager(Jason). He was very warm, welcoming, willing to listen, not hear me, but listen. He was compassionate, he was the polar opposite of what I experienced prior. The same with the next individual Brian . They went beyond a job it wasn't a customer and an employee. But people willing to help people and help them feel better. It was more than that. I truly and sincerely appreciate both Jason and Brian being different. We all know how busy the Apple Store is, they weren't dismissive, they weren't cruel, they weren't f'd up. They were willing to listen, but most importantly they made it so I didn't leave their feeling how I initially did. So I say all that to say. Everybody is not the same, we all have bad days but we should never let our bad days, or even the character of who we are be so messed up that it ruins another person. To not let one bad apple (no pun intended ) spoil the bunch, and to not meet fire with fire but find a solution that is better even if you the person hurting have to give someone else a chance. You never know how those people will change your perception, your feeling(s) and even how you were going to look at life. Thank you to Brian Thank you to Jason, Apple stamford still has a customer .    Read moreI am not in the USA at the moment , yet yesterday the number of this store and name ( APPLE STORE #R202 ) showed in my bank account with so many different transactions showing that I should have been in this store and to have used my card to buy what ever for thousands of Dollars . It seems like there are robbers in this place who have access to other branches of Apple stores in different states in USA so they are able to use our credit card number , forge credit cards with the information of any customer they choose after this customer uses his / her credit card in any other branch.
Robbery in day light this is what it is . How can I be outside the USA yet I am using my credit card to buy from this store .. a transaction every minute for an hour ?? My credit card is with me so I don't understand how it flew across oceans to make the buy and return to me all in an hour as a total of time ??? Yet no one wants to help .. my son called them to inform them and to ask .. all he got as an answer was that the manager is not authorized to discuss such matters over the phone . What am I supposed to do .. leave my job and fly over to talk to him ?? Why isn't the law doing anything about this , though I have read a few complaints about the same problem with the same store , which means that this robbery has happened to others and like me I wouldn't think that they kept quite about it . I will be involving Interpol in my case and my money better be refunded to me or else who ever is involved will be enjoying a long stay in prison . I will make sure my lawyer will work on this case so they will stay in prison for a very very long time . If this store has nothing to do with all this robbery mess than they should be more helpful and must take proper action to stop who ever from using their name .. This is bad advertisement for this store .. I will be spreading my story around because I am very angry and frustrated , who wouldn't be if their money...
