The first and third floor are decent, however, the women's floor is tragic. The Farm Rio section had dresses so wrinkled, clearly just shipped out of a box, and clumped on a rack. I should have taken a photo it was shocking how dumpy it looked...
The dresses are low in price, and very cheap in quality. The second floor sales associates chase you around to start a fitting room the second you even hold up and item, yet walk right by wrinkled clothing, clothing on the floor, and dressing rooms left with discarding items all around. The service can only be described as weird, and none of these sales associates could offer any style advice. They wouldn't know the brands or fit... but I guess it really isn't an issue here, as there isn't any merchandise to recommend. The SA skill level at most, is looking online for a size, which any customer can do with a smart phone. I am not sure why they haven't phased out these people entirely and instead just have self check out.
The visual look of the women's apparel is worse than a TJ max. The women's apparel is sorted by color... they don't have any designer corners just a few sad MaxMara pieces no one would buy here in this tragic space.
You could not walk into this store and find any women's wardrobe essential items. Where are the great jeans or slacks? How about a good button down that will last for years? Forget investing in a good coat or suit as a women. It's leggings and polyester dresses made in sweatshops destined to land in a dumpster, than a landfill in a few months. No wonder people look like frumpy zombies everywhere you look. It is so sad what has happened to our great department stores. You used to look to buyers and the sales floor for...
Read moreThis particular Nordstrom located in Norwalk has quite a fair bit more to offer than other locations within the state, including high-end brands that you are less than likely to find being sold elsewhere within the Nordstrom network, such as bags and shoes from YSL, Burberry, Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Mario Valentino, and others that I'm possibly forgetting as I type this review.
Jalen V. who works in the men's shoes department did great by me in helping me secure my Gucci Agrado slides in Gucci men's size 11 (US 10 Men). We engaged in conversations regarding certain topics with mutual interest and is overall a very personable individual who is a valuable asset to the team at this Nordstrom location; he will definitely and reliably help you out as far as shoes for men are concerned.
This particular Nordstrom location is one that I highly recommend making the drive out to, if only to at least visit and browse the rather extensive inventory of items; I will certainly be making more visits to this store as...

Went in to find a brown 30 belt for my son. All belts were 32 or much larger. Daquan Skeeter assisted me and was not discouraged. He advised me that depending on the belt, they can resize it. So glad he told me that service was available. He patiently helped me locate a belt that has the right buckle for alterations and the right color to match my sons shoes. He then brought the belt to alterations but was told that my son needed to be there for fitting which he wasn't. David Dalum was very enthusiastic to help out with the sizing. He tried on the belt for the alternation specialist and help me with what he prefers the belt to hang etc.... Then the alternation specialist didn't have a screwdriver to remove the bucket, Daquan went to other stores to borrow a screwdriver. Thank you Daquan and David for going above and beyond! It's rare to meet people that really enjoy helping...
