Where do I begin! I took a stain glass class and between the faulty equipment and the instructor, who seemed aggravated every time you asked for help (your the teacher, I’m the student), not a very good 10 week experience. Next class was pottery class (4 weeks) didn’t make it past one class. Was supposed to be a beginners class…umm didn’t feel like it. Classes are not Cheap and if you pay for a certain class day and time, you should get the attention from the instructor and not have to share it with others from a different class. Read moreI contacted Studio 550 fairly last minute to inquire about having some bowls made for my mother for Christmas. Monica responded to me via email and collected all the needed information and jumped on the project. During the entire process she would send me pictures of different colors and make sure I was approving every step of the creation process. She was very responsive via email too which also made the process easier! My boyfriend just picked the bowls up today and they are gorgeous! Monica went above and beyond to make sure these bowls were done for my mothers Christmas gift.
THANK YOU!!! We will definitely be visiting you for a date...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about this place! I first took a 8 week hand building class here with Amy and enjoyed it so much I turned around and signed up for the very next session! There is so much to explore in these classes that it does not get old!! I also love the atmosphere that this studio creates! People from all experience levels can participate and feel included. I ended up making so many great pieces and felt like I really made strong bonds with others in my community as well. I have already signed up for my next class! Thanks Amy and Monica and everyone else at 550 for this absolute GEM of a place...
