Convenient and stress-free entering the location. Well lit and visible - very good job whoever chose this location for the hotel. Less than 10 minutes to the mall. Less to SNHU arena. Good food spots nearby and grocery stores right around the corner. When you come in from the covered drive up, there are luggage carts right to the side of the entrance with a large revolving door on auto for a hands-free entrance. The staff is the most genuine and kind staff I have ever encountered. Seriously. Even at 3 a.m., they're ready to answer questions and help you have the best stay possible. The entire building is spotless. Whoever they have for their cleaning staff deserves a raise. You could eat off the floors and the rooms are well kept. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and clean with no odd odors; just the scent of fresh linens and bleached white towels. There is some wallpaper in my room coming from the wall, which happens when temps fluctuate and the person who installed the wallpaper didn't swipe the edges. Super easy fix and doesn't impact the quality of the room - just something I stared at a lot when first waking up. Soft linen shower curtains with magnets so it doesn't attack you. The water pressure is good. It's strong but not as aggressive as some other hotel chains that install low powered pressure washers for shower heads. There's a slide on the side for settings. A little drippy, but that's normal for how much use they get. The shower head was clean, without any visible mold or mildew, and that's what honestly counts. The shower base is a tub that's raised so carefully step out. The water temperature for a piping got bath is wonderful for a modest soak before bed after you're done scrubbing down in the shower. I highly recommend it. Hair dryer on the wall you can unplug to plug in your electric toothbrush and sensible counter space with a huge mirror. They have generous portions of soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. All of it smells amazing. Crisp and fresh scent that is pleasant but not going to linger on you to poorly mix with any personal hygiene items or perfume/cologne options. There is even a black washcloth with the embroidered word "makeup." Very smart. I have sensitive skin and have had zero reactions to the products, even using the body wash on my face. The room itself: desk with big desk lamp that has outlets on its base for convenience. No needing to hunt behind the desk or stoop down. TV size is decent and great for just putting on something to curl up to at the end of your day or to put on the news while getting started. There is a coffee bar with a keurig that has 2 regular coffee pods, one decaf, and one tea option. Microwave up top and mini fridge below are clean and have no smell. Drawers contained a wine bottle opener and aerator, which surprised me. I don't drink, but it was very thoughtful from whoever at Hilton who thought to have those in the rooms for those who need a nightcap or enjoy a glass of wine after a bath. The breakfast is stellar. Buffet style with every flavor of bagel, chocolate chips muffins, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles and english muffins. Help yourself to almond milk, regular milk, chocolate milk, orange, cranberry, grapefruit, and apple juices. Fresh apples, oranges, and bananas. And that's just the buffet - they have a whole menu if you want omelets, pancakes, or more! Breakfast goes until 10 am, giving plenty of time so you're not rushed. Did I mention the amazing staff? Even the parking lot is immaculate. Only constructive criticism is that I couldn't find a safe in the room, but I may have...
Read moreMy DD got my tix for a show at the SNHU arena--I booked this hotel based on the many + reviews and figured we'd make it a "girls night"--spent the $10 to upgrade to a "King suite with a whirlpool tub"-- Joined the "Hilton rewards" to make check in easier, |have access to digital key, etc.--and although I was hoping all would go smoothly seeing its a "Hilton" (which, to me, means 'quality')--I normally stay at Choice Hotels, and I would call them 'middle ground', but I will say their quality is MUCH better than this hotel.|1. Upon arrival, we noticed that the king bed had the sheets, comforter etc all just tossed onto the top of the bed (no tightly tucked in corners, hospital style, it was just odd looking-almost as if someone already sat on it and left it crumpled if you can picture what I'm saying?. Seeing that my daughter has been a chambermaid for years, her first comment was "i would have been fired for this", and she worked at a local mom and pop place back home!--upon further inspection while removing the top linens, the comforter was stained with some brown substance--old blood? not sure. Had a rip in it, and a bunch of long black hair. We pulled it straight off the bed and just used our own blankets. Thanks goodness we brought them!|2. Digital key never worked. Had to get two regular keys. |3. There is absolutely NO convenience offerings in this "suite" room for you. No paper or pen at the "desk", no clock in the bedroom, no shower cap (had to use a bag on my head--LOL!), they have a nice whirlpool tub and offer no bath salt for that perk. We did get a disposable make up wipe though. The only cup is the hot cup for the coffee maker. |4. Room itself is a bit dark and dreary. I guess I just expected a little more for a "suite". The stand up shower had mold in all the grout towards the bottom of the shower. |I really hate to complain, but TBH, I have stayed at lesser quality hotels for less money and had better accommodations. |5. Breakfast is not complementary, the buffet is $20 pp-- for the $$, thats a hard NO for me. |I will say the staff all seemed very nice. They have a shuttle which was a huge help. I'm sure I will get an automated reply from management telling me they are sorry they didnt meet my expectations, and thats totally cool. I could have went down and complained like a Karen telling them I wanted a new room. But honestly, after driving and hour, and dealing with some personal stuff emotionally, neither of us was up to cause a scene and wait for another room. We just wanted to chill out before the event. We made it work, but...
