This place is exactly what the 1-3 star reviews state. HORRIBLE!
I came for Sunday Easter Brunch and it's literally no different than any other Sunday Brunch. The food being served is just tasteless, dry and cold. The entire "breakfast" bar was semi cold food, from eggs, waffle and hash-browns.
To put this in a very very easy relatable manner, there is absolutely no real "chef" here making food. Most of the food here is bought ready to go from freezer to grill and then served to the public. There is absolutely no distinguishes certain foods.
The dessert bar is all pre frozen or wrapped food and then cut in thin slices and served to everyone.
I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone if they are looking to enjoy a brunch type of environment. I think the only good thing here was that the mimosas were actually stronger than most places who serve the...
Read moreWe had a great experience on a Friday night at the Franklin Steakhouse to watch an NYY playoff game. We were able to snag a high top by the bar but as the night wore on, seats were plentiful at the bar. The restaurant doesn't get much natural light (there are no windows on the front side of the building) so it feels a little claustrophobic. There was a DJ, who on regular intervals, spun a "shot wheel" to decide what shot would be featured for $2.
Food was on point and pricing was reasonable. We started w the firecrackers (essentially, flautas). Generous portion with lots of condiments for dipping. I had the bbq chopped chicken salad as my main and was happy w the dish. Husband had the nachos for dinner and loved them. Christian was our server and was great, very attentive. He was in top of water fillups and...
Read moreIf you sit in the dining area, get ready to wait forever to see your server, ever. I had to ask the host to send the server over multiple times. We ordered jalapeno poppers which were frozen when they reached the table. Sent them back and got them back ok. I ordered a filet mignon rare and got it overcooked, at least medium well. My friend's rib eye was also overcooked but he did not want to send it back to the kitchen. When I got my steak back I got it without a fork and also they forgot to give me another side of sour cream and butter for the baked potato side, but at this point it's just too much to keep asking for things that should be standard, like I don't know, a fork? Just took the damn steak to go since by the time I received it all my friends were done eating and ordering a desert .... Never...
