9/30/2021 Made a stop at City Mill to have them make a spare key. The gal who made it was quick and was sure to tell me to keep the receipt so that if the key didn't work, I could bring it back and they could recut it. I also stopped at the paint center to ask the worker if he could match a paint chip. He said that he could and that I could bring in a chip sized a little less than the size of a nickel so it could be matched. I ended up wandering around for a bit to see what was new since they rearranged some parts of the store. They have a car care area which I hadn't noticed before. I like the cleaning supplies aisle because it seems that they have something to clean anything. When I went to pay, the clerk at the register (different person) again told me to keep the receipt so that if the key didn't work I could bring it back. When I tried the key, it worked just fine. I love City Mill!
Super helpful workers! They always help me find what I'm looking for. I can also call to see if they have what I need & they'll even tell me what aisle it's in so I don't have to wander around when I get there. I was looking for something to get rid of the white spots on my desert roses so I was referring to my phone. The worker showed me a spray that he said would be helpful & not damage my plants. It worked! I'm happy that we have City Mill..A local company with a wide range of products and...
Read moreI was approached today in the store and told I had to leave my bookbag at the front of agree to have it searched. While I'll understand this is an anti-shoplifting policy, I elected to leave instead. My reasons are:
1: I consider this a discriminatory policy. Unless you are going to confiscate the purses of women shoppers (and I have not seen them doing that), it's unfair to only target mostly men.
2: Inconsistency. I have shopped here dozens of times with my bookbag, interacting with associates and have never been told to remove it. Even this time, the associate at the front greeted me, but said nothing about the bag.
Inconvenience. Hawaii bag policy. Because we are not supposed to be using bags for environmental reasons, it makes sense to always have your bags on you. For a place where I'm going to be getting hardware and often heavy objects or chemicals, I'd prefer to get and use my book bag...
Read moreAs I was looking for the item I need, I noticed they are out. A floor employee approached me and I asked if they have anymore and said no more. She said everyone wants the item I was looking ( it was those thin Plywood use for crafts, I need 2x2 but they have 2x4 on the floor)then she said I can have the next size and have them cut to the size I need and pay for what I will be taking. So then I had it cut and put back the other half. When I got to the register the cashier (Louella B.) charged me full amount and I explained to her what was the employee told me and said no you have to pay for the full amount so then I told her I need to have the other half then since I will be paying for the full size. I then inserted my card and waited if it went through then asked her and she’s so cocky with me. Management should have good communication with their staff/employees.NO CUSTOMER...
