Haleiwa Store Lots — Attraction in Oʻahu

Lots of great stores to choose from and the grounds are very well kept and clean which is nice as with so many tourists it can get messy quickly for sure. I wish there were more signage about the parking as we shopped at a few of the stores on the lots but we're unaware of the fact that A) there was a parking lot in the rear and B) if it was free or paid. My wife and I stopped at the North Shore for our honeymoon. There were alot of cute shops and a few restraunts. There were numerous ice cream places and a crazy looking shaved ice place. They had a large line and made the most insane shaved ices I have ever seen. We ate at the Mexican restraunt and it was nice and quick as we needed to catch a flight. Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Oahu has been the home of Matsumoto’s Shave Ice for many years. I first went there in about 1981 when it was just a little shack with a dirt parking lot. It’s now a great tourist draw with surrounding shops built in a similar style to Matsumoto’s original (which has been updated and enlarged).
