After having many rude experiences at home depot, I decided to just go to ace. Even though I pass acr every day, I didn't realize that it was even there, and drove a bit further to north shore, Instead of wahiawa. It was totally worth it. I wish I could remember the lady who helped me in the paint section when I went with my kids, but she was helpful, friendly and fast. When she thought there may not be enough brown to make the shade of yellow I was wanting, she came and found me in the store and gave me a few options. Fortunately, there was just enough to make the small quart I needed. She was friendly to both of my kids. And gave each of them a "job" to do, giving one a paint key to hold (which my daughter thought made her a queen of paint city) and my son had the paint stirrers. She also answered my daughters questions about the equipment for paint mixing. They want to go back every weekend. Lol. The cashier who helped sign me up was also very friendly, even though there was a rude older man (who was also rude to the paint lady) fussing loudly that he was having to wait in line, with one person...

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE !! We spent $100 at this business , walked across the street to have a drink. Was gone 5 minutes and our vehicle was getting towed. We were in the parking lot and they were hooking up our vehicle. The ace hardware co hires Reponse parking management to tow people They have them stand in the lot and watch people. The response guy was insulting and rude. Almost ran over my husband. Insulted me and yelled at us. Laughed like crazy at us. Yes we are tourist. But we are Americans. And I we are spending a great deal of money here. Good to know this town thinks so little of tourist.
