ALO YOGA in Oakbrook holds a special place in my heart, and it's easy to see why. As a former resident of The Commons across the street, my boyfriend and I found ourselves frequenting this fantastic store. Now that we've moved to Naperville, I can't help but miss our weekly visits to ALO – it truly became a cherished part of our routine.
One of the standout aspects of ALO YOGA is the incredible staff. From the moment you step foot into the store, you are greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. The team at ALO is not only knowledgeable about their products but also incredibly helpful and accommodating. Whether you need assistance with finding the perfect fit or have online orders to return or exchange, they go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. The availability of fitting rooms is a great convenience, and the staff's helpfulness adds to the overall exceptional experience.
Another reason why ALO YOGA is a go-to destination for me is their commitment to customer satisfaction. The store understands that sometimes online orders don't work out as expected, and they make the return and exchange process seamless and hassle-free. Their willingness to accommodate customers with online order returns and exchanges is truly commendable and speaks volumes about their dedication to ensuring a positive shopping experience.
The ambiance at ALO YOGA is both calming and invigorating. The store's modern and stylish interior creates an atmosphere that is both inspiring and comfortable. It's a space where you can truly immerse yourself in the world of yoga and activewear, surrounded by a wide range of high-quality products that cater to all styles and preferences.
The exceptional staff, the availability of fitting rooms, and the store's commitment to customer satisfaction make it a top-notch destination for any yoga enthusiast or activewear lover.

Read moreI recently went into Alo to purchase some new workout clothing. I was being assisted by a very knowledgeable associate, Gianna. In the midst of her helping me, manager Janna pulled Gianna away from me. Upon walking in a direction opposite of me, I overheard her reprimanding Gianna for "spending too much time with me and talking too long to me." I glanced around the store trying to understand the urgency this manager may have been feeling to hurry Gianna along. There was one other customer in the store who was being helped by another young lady, plus a register attendant, along with manager Janna. At this point, I had already placed over $400 at the register to purchase. Gianna did come back and help me, and I confronted her about what manager Janna had said. She handled it in a very mature way by not really responding to my inquisition. Gianna slid past the question by showing me a few items that we were looking at prior to her being scolded. I, at this point, felt very awkward and as though I was an imposition to this manager, Janna, for being in the store too long. I asked Gianna if she received commission for her sales. Knowing managers are usually held to sales goals, and Gianna wouldn't end up receiving any compensation for her assistance, but Janna would get the credit, I explained to Gianna I couldn't in good conscience give Alo my sales transaction. I did end up at your major specialty competitor and spent $802.43, all of which I would have spent with your company, Alo, had I not been such a bother to Janna. This was hands down one of the worst retail experiences I have...
Read moreTLDR: Love the clothing design and store atmosphere, but don't love the quality, prices and marketing.
Honestly really love the clothes, bought two pairs of the accolade sweatpants on sale because regular price is insanely expensive. The pros are that they are incredibly soft, love the color options, clearly stylish. Love the atmosphere of the store and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. However, I began reading reviews on pilling with these pants which made me nervous. I had hoped that maybe it was a batch quality issue. But, I have only washed the one pair twice and it is pilling, the other pair I haven't yet washed and I'm honestly hesitant. I think if anything these garments are made for hand-washing. I line dry my clothes and have them on delicate settings as well and for $128, they should absolutely not be pilling on the second wash. Something I also really wasn't a fan of was the straight leg pants. I was reluctant to get a pair but because they come in different colors than the ones that scrunch at the bottom, I tried them. They were huge, sizing seemed to be different from the others, and they were incredibly long, and im not really petite. They also began pilling on the bottom after a couple hours of wear and so had to return. Also, as for the "limited releases" I tried to keep an eye out for restocks of a certain item because there are typically restocks, but they just stopped selling it. That was...
