Lolli & Pops — Restaurant in Oak Brook

🍭🍬🍫 My opinion of first time visiting Lolli & Pop Oakbrook, IL

1). Way Way Way Over Priced!! 2). Fun, exciting, toys, candy, sweets, and cool things. 3). Nice cashier's for most part. 4). I tried a few candies/ chocolates with my friends and my reaction..."$8 for this and it's literally very small amount and doesn't taste good...no way". Looked great, but not as expected!

This place was really fun...especially for kids/tweens, teens. Candy wonderland! In my opinion only good for viewing.

Atmosphere was crowded and entertaining as we looked at all of the candy, chocolates, and toys. Lots of little hands touching everything in the store.

They do have a clearance section (meh...still not worth it to me).

The cashier's seemed nice but young. I can't believe one of the cashier's gave me a dented item without me seeing it. They got the boxes from the back and bagged them for me. I didn't think to check them for damage.

**Yes, I am partially to blame for not inspecting what I purchased while I was there. Trusting so easily.

My experience: I got 4 of these "Game of Thrones PEZ collectible tins (see picture)" from Lolli & Pop in Oak Brook, Illinois a couple weeks ago. They had two on the shelf (I was only able to reach one) and I wanted 4. The cashier had to get the rest from the back for me and she nicely put them in the bag for me. I did not get to inspect them closely until today 3/19/23, I was getting ready to wrap them as gifts. One of the Game of Thrones PEZ tins was dented in the back like someone had stepped on it (but it was ok in the front), it's like a weird dent...you cannot do it with your hands or feet... it's like folded over...strangely.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend Lolli & Pop because of the outrageous prices mainly. It was fun tho.

Yes, go see it. It's a fun place. I would never over pay by 20X for low quality candy. Now, if the candy was of higher quality...yeah, I would complain, but... I would still buy it and eat it. 🍭🍬🍫 Lolli & Pop.....Godiva prices for Dum...

Absolutely LOVE this cute lil candy shoppe at the Oakbrook Mall! I had so much fun looking around with my 14yr old son as he walked around filling his golden basket with sweet treats! ☺️ The cold drink selection was very impressive and I was also glad to see that we can get some of the Japanese treats we like here now so we dont have to go all the way to Chinatown. Service was excellent and they even offered to open a bottle of the bacon flavoured pop for us to try, which we politely declined. 😁 It was also great to see that they have such an amazing selection of bulk candies, including some srsly wicked gummie bear flavours that I had never seen before (mai tai?!?!). I signed up for the rewards program and as I work near them, I will definitely be back...

It's one thing to have a sweet and yummy selection, but the customer service is what will have me coming back! I didn't realize I came near closing time, but the main cashier was a total sweetheart and helped me feel comfortable! She also asked all the right questions and went above and BEYOND to show me around and sweetly guiding me to the vegan goodies! There was also a very polite and helpful young man cleaning in there. Thanks again for a fabulous experience! Hard to come by this level of kindness nowadays! Kudos for a sweet visit in a sweet shop! :) Ps they also give you these super adorable bags.
