
I've been coming to this gym for just under a year, and I genuinely have nothing but positive things to say. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and the recent change from white to all black walls in February was a game changer in terms of atmosphere. The convenience of 24/7 access is very nice. Staff are consistently friendly and welcoming (honorable mention to Alex who always goes out of his way to acknowledge members and bring a positive energy to the space.) They are constantly improving the layout to make the most of the space, and they’re currently expanding into the unit next door for even more room. The selection of machines is excellent and covers everything you'd need. That being said, I would love to see some more freestanding cable machines and flat benches. It can get quite crowded (especially during the summer months when guest passes are more common) where on a few occasions I've had to leave and come back for machine availability. All in all, this is the best gym in town and look forward to seeing it...

When I arrived at the facility, I immediately felt that I had walked into a welcoming home for folk looking to push themselves. The equipment was clean, the environment was vibrant, and every staff member was there to help folk grow.
Of course I had to learn more about this business & after reading its origin story, it’s clear that they’ve created an environment that welcomes anyone that is willing to put in the work to enhance their mind and body.
I can’t wait to go back to Oak Island not only for the great beaches, accommodations, and restaurants; but so that I can pick up on that positive gym energy that Oak Island...
