Fruitvale — Attraction in Oakland

I have to give this station 3 stars, they have been keeping their elevator clean, and my kids thank you! But on the flip side I just received the rudest customer service from two bart employees sitting at the help desk in working in slow motion. When I reported the machine was broken and just ate my ticket, The lady slowly said she will work on it from across the booth, knowing damn well If she dont talk into the speaker no one hears her, then she proceeded to pay a bill with her debit card while I waited. After 5 minutes I told her just take your time now I just missed my train, she looked at me with the most dumb founded look on her face and said I wasnt going to move any faster. Good job lady, ur gonna get far with...

It's not as scary as people make it out to be. This portion of Oakland reminds me a lot of the Mission in SF.

The main thing to remember if you're commuting to work and parking at this station is that if you're not there by 7:30AM, you're going to be screwed. Haven't had any incidents/issues here. As of late their elevators in the parking garage have stop functioning and need to be serviced. Police occasionally patrol the garage but I've never really seen them on foot at the station.
