Transmission Gallery Oakland — Attraction in Oakland

This is a great gallery that shows a wide variety of work. There’s a focus on sculpture. It’s a commercial gallery. The space is used in a very flexible way so you may see just a few artists or a large number of different artists.

It’s kind of divided into three spaces and there’s also an outdoor space for sculpture and murals.

Transmission gallery also has a location in the mission in San Francisco

This is a very nice art gallery - very sleek, clean and sophisticated, more like a S.F. gallery than Oakland. I've seen several shows and enjoyed them all.
