Affordable Mopeds — Attraction in Ocean Shores

Really wish that I could give this -5 stars. After driving 800 miles to get my grandparents moved into ocean side, we went to return the U-Haul to the directed U-Haul establishment. Which was this place. The owner was horribly rude to my grandparents and us. Cursing at us, telling us that they "had nothing to do with U-Haul", when they have a ton of U-Hauls outside and a big sign outside along with a U-Haul computer system inside. So I guess they will rent you a U-Haul for profit and not take it back. When we called U-Haul customer service they told us that they were consistently "nasty people" to anyone trying to return a U-Haul. So the U-Haul people told us to leave the U-Haul at the establishment for them to come pick up. So we left the keys and told the people who owned the place and he followed us all the way to the car yelling and cursing at us that they were going to call the cops and a tow truck. I felt very uncomfortable. Honestly I wanted to call the cops for our safety. We never even raised our voices at him and he was yelling the entire time. So seriously unless you want to be screamed at, threatened, and followed out to your car, don't go here. People who are this rude shouldn't have a business. I don't know why people this bitter even have a business. If you read this, shut your business down. Maybe give it to a nicer relative who can not curse at customers every other word. I had a wonderful experience but 2 things could have been better. 1st they charged me twice on accident and now won't return my call. It was only 27$ but still, come on... second the wife was very loud and rude to her daughter. I didn't appreciate yelling in my ear, I felt it was very unprofessional and rude. I truly feel bad for the daughter, that must have been humiliating. My parents would never yell at me in public. Kuddos to daughter for taking it with a grain of salt, holding back her tears and smiling anyway.. her brother was incredible with customer service and training in the back. Overall a great place to bring your hard working money, I hope the mother can get ahold of herself and act a bit more professional from now on. My refund for being double charged would be nice, but if I don't see it I'll just go spend else where next time, no big there. All in all 4 star. Nice dad dude, cool Oregon ducks helmets and affordable experience all in all. Thanks! And p.s. please stop yelling at your daughter, there are healthier ways to correct someone, she's young, she's learning, teach with love and patience. Customers don't appreciate yelling. I grade businesses for magazine in so many towns, i was sad to see the lack of patience you had for your daughter. Overall a good place to take your family....

Pricing is fair, but their customer service is terrible. It was our 2nd year return to Affordable Mopeds. It seemed that last year they ran by friendlier and customer oriented owner/staffs. This year, as of June 2021, the new owner/staffs seemed strict-in-business: crabing money and f' all customer satisfaction.

We rented 4 hours session with 2 PAID riders, my wife went for instruction (which we dont really need as we already learned last year) and received the moped. I skipped the instruction as I kept my sleeping babies cool in my car... when I returned the moped, the guy tried to give me trouble or to make more money due to the fact that he did not see me at the moped training. He did not aware of my contract and wrongfully accused me! His approach was unprofessional, typical street confrontation style that can easily be escalated in fighting. For better future of Affordable Mopeds, the company should consider replace this guy or good luck with your future business as, start-off, my group and I will never use your rental facility again when visit Ocean Shore. With our group, 5 moped rented for 4 hours session, $700 was the last wasted dollars at your place. Hope you dont lose more customers beside us yearly just because of that...
