We stayed at the resort and loved the on site restaurant. I still plan to return even if we were not staying here. Two different levels. The first floor is Surf Point for the restaurant. The top floor is 360 Bar for adults only and has a limited menu similar to the lunch menu on the first floor. We came her three times each for dinner, lunch and an evening drink upstairs. Dinner: best experience (5 stars) My wife got the lobster and shrimp scampi and I got the seafood bouillabaisse. I was blown away by the flavor of the seafood bouillabaisse and this is a top dish that will compete with any other top restaurant. My wife's lobster and shrimp scampi was delicious. The view was gorgeous overlooking Ogunquit beach and the ocean. Lunch: average (3 stars) My wife got the turkey BLT wrap and it was not pulled turkey per the menu and just turkey deli meat, still ok. I had the fish and chips. It was oily and felt heavy. I had much better. The fries was crispy and good. We probably would not return for lunch. Evening drinks upstairs at 360 Bar: (5 stars) The bartender was attentive and made a custom martini for us to perfection. The view here is magical and a must visit. We didn't want to leave this experience to go to dinner...ha. Overall this is a 5 star experience even with lunch being average. It's all about the experience! 👏👍🏽

This is the kind of place that makes bank just because of their view, so they don't have to worry about the quality of their food. I've worked in restaurants for years and know that the oil definitely hadn't been changed in a while because our fries were super dark and gross. The lobster roll was subpar at best. I ordered a hot buttered lobster roll, and the lobster came cold. They put hot but on it, but didn't heat the lobster, which is disappointing because I hate cold lobster. Also, it was ridiculously overpriced. I wanna say it was 36? If you go here, just get a drink and appreciate the view. If you care at all about the quality and the taste of your food, don't order here. I highly recommend mabels lobster if you are a lobster fanatic like me! Their roll was 28 and 10x the taste and quality. This place won't change though, again it's the kind of place that knows they can get away with serving below average view because of their real estate.

We have visited Surfpoint 360 three times in the last week and have had a great experience each time. Cooper and Sean were attentive and accommodating servers, and the drinks and view were amazing. Sean even remembered our exact drink preferences from the day before. The most remarkable thing was last night when my older parents and I were leaving, the kitchen manager Jamie, who was getting off her shift, noticed that my dad was feeling weak as we were waiting for our golf cart taxi ride back to our rental. She waited with us to make sure the driver came and when he didn’t, she got the hotel shuttle and personally drove us — on her time off — to make sure we got home safely. It is the best customer service we have gotten in years. We were so impressed with the service that we plan to switch hotels next summer and stay at the Anchorage Inn where the Surfpoint 360 is located. Fantastic service.

The service was so slow. We waited half an hour to check in for reservations, by the time we got to the host stand after waiting in the long line out the door and no room to get around, the host said he was trying to seat 8:15 reservations, and we were got there and had reservations for 7:45. The host was extremely disorganized. Once I flagged a manager, and finally was sat, it took 30 minutes plus to see a server, AFTER 20 minutes of waiting and going back to the host stand to ask if we had a server.

Finally when the server came, we placed drinks and food orders all at once, now being an hour after our reservation. It then took a subsequent 30 minutes for the drinks to come. Do not get the espresso martini, very watered down. Though, I’m suspicious it’s watered down for waiting up at the bar so long, because when we finally went up to the bar for a refill (after being empty for 15 minutes and no refill offer), it had ice and was much less water tasting.

Children everywhere. If you sit outside, be warned there may be soccer balls and footballs flying at you. They have a lawn area attached to the outdoor seating, and children run around unsupervised and screaming.

Also, if expecting seafood at a seafood restaurant, don’t. They were out of shrimp, scallops, steak and salmon. The chicken Parmesan was the most bland we’ve ever had, and the French fries were cold.

Even though we had four in our party, silverware and napkins (which were brought out two hours after sitting), were for three people…. We kept having to ask for another set of items.

When asking for the check, and requesting it be split in two, we were told “well you should have told me that at the beginning” and “I’ll do the best I can do”. We were made to feel like we were being difficult by asking.

I understand a wait, but this was the longest and most ridiculous wait for a prescheduled reservation. They were taking walk ins while still so poorly managing the tables they did have. We saw 7+ wait staff, so it’s hard to believe it was a...

I’m editing this review since my wife entered only scoring with no comments. We’ve been coming to Surf Point 360 for years, probably as long as they were open over 20 years. We always make it one of our first stops when coming to Ogunquit and we visit 3-5 times a year. We know many of the restaurant owners in the area and enjoy what each brings to the area. Just about every time we come with our friends, we get lobster rolls and have multiple drinks dropping over $130/couple for lunch. During our recent visit our waiter John Ross told us that lobster rolls are only available in the downstairs restaurant claiming they are trying to balance the customer base to both upstairs and downstairs. I’ve never heard of such logic! It’s not like it’s a baked stuffed lobster dinner that would be expected to only be available in the more formal restaurant. Also, the wine list changed and is ridiculous. Having only one Chardonnay by the glass for $18 is insane when every restaurant in the area offers Chardonnay by the glass from $11-$14 for their inexpensive Chardonnay and they might have a Sancerre at a higher price. We go to many restaurants including That Place, The Front Porch, Crew, MC Perkins, Barnacle Billy’s, Angelina’s, Cliff House, and more, so we know the standard. In addition, John Ross’ explanation on the lobster roll was condescending and we never saw him again after taking our order. Never came back to ask if we needed anything or to check on things. Maybe this is new ownership and they are disconnected from the clientele. We’ve know many of the staff there over the years and they were always top notch. With all the choices in the area, we and our 15 friends...

This place is all around terrible with the exception of the ambiance. My husband ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and I ordered a chicken Caesar salad. When the food came (2 chicken Caesar salads), my husband was away from the table. I told the waitress he had ordered a Caesar Wrap and all she said was “oh” and then walked away. When she came back, my husband again told the waitress that he had ordered a wrap. She pulled out her notes and said “I wrote down salad.” She basically said, no that’s not what you ordered, like what? I’ve never had a situation where a waiter who brought the wrong food tries to tell you it’s your fault that she brought the wrong food. I asked her to bring us a side of fries to bring the salad closer to the original wrap order, thinking she would comp the side of fries. That seemed like the easiest solution and would have saved her tip. Nope, she made her inattention to detail our problem and charged us for the fries and the incorrect order. As if being told that it was our fault that she messed up the order wasn’t enough, the chicken on both salads was over cooked so badly that it literally turned into chicken crumbs in the salad. I’ve had dry chicken before but this was a whole different level. It was almost like the chicken had been cremated. On the up side, it was just lunch that we wasted time and money on so I guess that’s a plus. I feel sorry for the people who had to endure...
