Pinot's Palette — Attraction in Olathe

I am giving this review after my posts were removed and randomly being blocked on Facebook for giving the review attached to the end of this google review. That really screams volumes as to the shady business practices of THIS SPECIFIC FACILITY, and it genuinely makes me wonder how many reviews they conceal simply for not being a perfect one. This is the biggest reason I am giving them 1 star. I do not have any desire to fork over hard earned money to liars.

The only props I can give to my experience here is the instructors were nice and had good energy. The parking sucked, the instructions were lacking, and this place really lacks the luster of the Leawood Pinot Palette location which is SIGNIFICANTLY superior to this location! The biggest positive to the Olathe location is that Syla and Maddys (best ice cream shop ever) is literally around the corner.

I just wanted to give some perspective in the difference between the Pinot's Palette Leawood, vs the pinot palette Olathe locations.

The left is pinot Palette Olathe instructions and the right is Pinot Palette Leawood. This is the first and last time I will be going to the Olathe's location. I only went because I love this painting that much. Leawood has AMAZING instructors, it's own bar, a beautiful facility, and is just a top notch good time! Your money will absolutely be better spent in Leawood!! You will not only walk away with more confidence and loving your piece, but the experience alone is WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

That was verified instantly after the original post from and double checked from my partners account seconds after it was done. A humble small business, but can outsource for marketing? If you are small it's not that hard to investigate that. Again with the lying. If you want to block people and curb reviews for the sake of self preservation that is fine, but be honest about it. You or your, "marketing team", could have just as easily reached out to me in the original interaction, but y'all chose this, "shady" business tactic, and people should know that is how you handle...

So I am not known for schedules and planning events. With my wife's birthday coming quickly, I decided to plan a last minute surprise party at Pinot's Palette. When I first called I spoke to Jeremy on the phone and he explained the whole booking process, while I had no problems with what he said, I wanted to see the studio in person before I booked. He took my number and contacted the owners of the studio. Barb met me at the studio on a day they were not open, even though she did not have to. It looked great. She booked me for the party and sent me a link to send to my guests. We had a great time and it was all BYO including food! I was able to bring in cake and wine. My wife was not only surprised but had a great time. The staff was helpful and funny and even took photos for us. Everyone was allowed to change colors from what the original painting had. I had given 5 stars in my below review and have gone back quite a few times since. Unfortunately, my experience tonight was 1 star. I was really looking forward to the class. It went down hill quickly and I left at the dry break, about 1 hour in. It felt like it was a class for 2 groups of people who have attended quite a bit. I could hear the table behind me also complain to eachother. I have gone to quite a few classes and have had no issues keeping up. I was at least 2 or 3 steps behind. I received minimal assistance when I asked. Finally had enough and left. Just a real downer. Don't know if I will be going back for any additional in person events.

Went with my adult son for the first time last month and had an incredible time. I have gone to a couple classes since then and I am signed up for another coming up. The teachers are wonderful! Can't wait for...
