I've lived in Olathe for about 6 yrs & this Target has been my family's go to for just about everything we live off 127th barely a 3 min drive to this location. Today I after dropping my daughter off at work I decided to go to this location because due to our amazing Midwestern winter I slipped/fell/bruised my left side pretty badly to where I needed to go do so price checks on some pain meds, wrist/ankle braces because I'm swollen/bruised/sprained. The parking lot was empty & I took the 1st closest available spot y'all because I'm walking with a bruised hip, twisted ankle, skinned knee etc all the good stuff that comes with slipping/falling in winter untreated area. I parked in HANDICAPPED ♿️, there was a cart attendant outside, he looked at me park there, he even made sure to give me the look "HEEYYYY U R NOT DISABLED" but I got out the car any way, I THOUGHT HE WOULD OF GAVE ME GRACE BCUZ OF HOW BAD I WAS LIMPING & HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO GET OUT OF THE FRIGID TEMPS BECAUSE OF HOW BAD I W WAS LIMPING. So after being in the store maybe 35min looking at different pain relievers, mobility splints etc I'm walking out to my car THE POLICE WAS IN FRONT OF MY CAR. I immediately start breaking down crying because it was unnecessary. THE OFFICER J. LITTLE WITH OPD SAW ME ALMOST SLIP AGAIN TRYING TO MAKE IT TO MY CAR. He did however ask me if I was ok, then he proceeded to ask me if I was disabled, I didn't lie & I gave him my truth. He told me next time just prepare to park in the parking spaces that's ready for use, I told him any other time I would but my body is hurt from my slip/fall yesterday. He gave me my citation.I SAT IN THAT CAR CRIED FOR ABOUT 10 MIN BECAUSE IT WAS SOOOO MEAN, EVIL & UNCAUSED FOR. I know y'all reading this & saying but it was a HANDICAPPED PARKING SPOT but y'all they have in store theft that they need to be more worried about , they should be more worried about the soccer moms that I see personally coming in there stealing, shopping with a sense of entitlement & etc. IT WAS A COLD, BLUSTERY, SNOWY FEBUARY MORNING. IT TOOK 30 MINS FOR ME TO WALK TO THE PAIN RELIEF AISLE HOW MUCH PROBLEMS OR DRAMA COULD I CAUSE. IF I WAS BLOND HAIR WIRH BLUE EYES & MY CHEST SITTING UP TO MY NECK THE CART ATTENDED PROBABLY WOULD'VE GIVEN ME A CART & SMILED. SO FUESS MY RACE, THEN THIS HAPPENS DURING...
Read moreTerrible customer service center. We just had twin girls and we were gifted many boxes of diapers. All I wanted to do was take in a couple boxes of diapers and exchange them for the next size up. We go through diapers at a quick pace, so this was one of our main to dos for the day. I walk up to the customer service desk and I was greeted by a male employee. His name begins with a V, so that’s what I will refer to him as. V greeted me politely and I assumed I would be able to return these diapers for in store credit, get the diapers I needed, and be on our way handling our two kids the rest of the day. Obviously, I was wrong. He immediately asks for my receipt and I tell him they were a gift and I only needed to exchange them for a size up. He then said, with an expressionless and irritated snarl, “Drivers license please.” I could already tell from that exchange V was not going to be very helpful. He began scanning my DL and then he an error pop up. His co-worker stated to him, ”They’ve hit their return limit. They need to do a straight across exchange.” V looks at me and sighs, then repeats exactly what his co worker said. That’s fine, I don’t have a problem with that. I then ask him to hold the two boxes of diapers so I can go through the store and get what I want to exchange them with. He then says,”Sorry sir, that’s your property, and I can’t hold it for you.” Wait, what? My property? You mean to tell me I have to call my wife who is already going through the store with twins to stop what she is doing, bring me two boxes of diapers, then go back to shopping? Because you can’t hold onto something that is eventually going back into your inventory in the next 10-20 minutes? I’m sorry, V, what exactly is it that you do here? Inconvenient to say the least and the EXACT opposite of customer service. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but to me I feel like I pay a lot to shop at Target and if this is the customer service I get when shopping here I may as well go back to Walmart. At least I’ll save money to get treated like dirt. Thanks for your help on Sunday afternoon 9.30.2018, employee V(sarcasm). I will never shop at this...
Read moreThe online ordering is not user friendly, and the associates aren't any better. I tried several times to make a purchase online to have sent to the store, but there is no way to add a coupon at checkout, only promo codes.
When I called the store, I was on hold forever, and when someone did finally answer, they placed me back on hold without saying anything. After several more moments, he finally answered and apologized then told me they would basically be using the exact same system that I'm using at home, so there is no way to apply coupons.
I asked him if that means that I basically have to purchase it online just to have it sent to the store (since limited stores in Kansas apparently do not sell many products for ethnic hair), return everything back at the store, then re-purchase it just to use the coupons. He said, "basically."
That is very silly. Why send out coupons for products you don't offer anywhere within a 20 mile radius? The self-checkout is always longer than just walking up to one of the lines.
It also does't make much sense that Kansas law does not allow for the optometrist to be in the same area as the retail for eye ware, so people have to walk out of the store and come back in to use the prescription.
They really need to get the website together for people using coupons, or at least allow people to pick-up in store and have a pay one there option. I get that they're scared to do that, but they could at least have a pick-up time to re-shelve it if they are concerned about people not coming in to make the purchase. Also, $40 minimum before free shipping? Amazon and Walmart...
