Very frustrating experience, we went to see Jurassic World: Dominion on opening night - as soon as we walked in we noticed that the theater was hot. I told an employee before the previews started that the theater was very hot and needed to have the temperature turned down, he said would tell his manager. About two-thirds of the way through the movie it was getting extremely hot; little kids, teenagers, and adults all commented on how hot it was. I went out again and told three employees that something needed to be done because it was so hot. One of them argued with me that it was just because there were so many people in the theater - really? lots of people for opening night of a big movie? Shocking! They should have been prepared in advance and started cooling the theater so it wouldn't be a problem. Now that it is a "Luxe" theater, there's fewer seats, meaning fewer people (easier to cool) - it wasn't even that hot today, the high was only 89°, it felt like it was 89° in the theater. When I was returning I saw one of the employees I talked to earlier coming out of the theater, when I asked him if he told his manager he said yes, but the manager wanted him to make sure it was really hot (nothing like listening to customers when they voice a concern!). When the movie was over people were complaining about how hot it was, when we talked to the manager we just got excuses. Walking into the 79 degree air outside felt amazingly cool! The most frustrating part of the whole experience was the arguing and excuse-making by the employees - none of that made it any cooler in the theater! The next time I think of going to the movies, I'll probably go to Caldwell, or stay home and stream it in the comfort of...
Read moreWent to see zombieland 2 double tap and paid $23.00 for seating. All because of the reclining chairs. We went to this theatre because when we looked online pricing was the same as every other reel theatre on their location page. We were not happy that our total came out to 34.15 with food. Definitely wont be returning since the seats were also uncomfortable mostly because our backs are more used to being on softer seating and not leather.
Staff was very rude especially when I told them I was shocked because the website said it was 4 bucks a ticket the women that rang us up couldnt even smile. Like I really wanted to go back and get a refund for everything and leave since she was being so rude. It was our first time there and she couldnt even smile when she said " the prices are listed on the website, and our prices have gone up since we got reclining seats." I didnt pitch a fit I just said oh! Awesome okay great thanks for letting us know" still no smile or you're welcome. Just flicked a sign at us and said it's all right here as well if youd like to read it. Still smiling myself I said cool. Not one frickin smile out of her. Unbelieveable. Please hire people that know what customer service is. It doesnt matter if a person didnt have the right information themselves (like us) employees should always be smiling at customers or at least be positive, happy and not have a debby downer, i hate my job attitude toward customers.
Props to the bigger dude that was on clean up duty after our movie he was at least nice enough to smile and say have a wonderful night guys! To which we responded thank...
Read moreWe purchased our movie tickets on Friday morning so that when we arrived that evening we would be able to walk right in and watch our movie without having to stand in the ticket line. We arrived that evening & noticed a big line and said to ourselves “we are so lucky we don’t have to wait in that big line since we purchased our tickets earlier today.” We walked right up to the concession stand to order some popcorn & drinks & a person in that big line said, “excuse me sir, the back of the line for the tickets starts back there. I looked at her and said, “oh we already purchased our tickets earlier we’re just coming up here to get our popcorn & drinks.” She then said, “this line is for movie ticket purchases & concessions.” I found it ridiculous that I, or anyone else would have to stand in that big line just to purchase any kind of concessions. My question to theater management is, Why not open up another register or two and make them just for concession purchases only? One customer said, “ I think you just go around to the back to those two windows over there and you can buy concessions only. I walked around to those two windows and there was a sign that said, “this is for popcorn refills only.” I guess the big question is, why don’t you guys have a register or two for concession purchases only? Why make customers stand in line again, who purchased their tickets earlier in the day, just to get some...
