Sneak & Dawdle — Attraction in Opelika

A great low-key place to grab a drink. You walk through a large, nondescript door and after a small entryway come into a large area with a bar running the length of the room and small alcoves for seating. The room is dimly lit and only missing soft music and cigarette smoke to actually make you feel like a legit underground speakeasy. I went with a friend on a Friday shortly after they opened. We didn't know what to expect, but we went early in the evening. We shared a bottle of very reasonably priced wine and lost ourselves in conversation. It was very comfortable and the service was excellent and discreet. Very cool place! Nice dark but artdeco style ambiance with blacks, purples, and blue lighting. Music playing, but not so loud you cant talk. The bartenders take their jobs seriously, which is fun to watch them make their fancy fire drinks. Kinda reminds me of a classy gentlemens club, minus the dancers. There is a spot off to the side of the bar in the corner that looks like it could be used for a 3 piece band, or dancing. ...
