I see all of the these negative reviews about a employee who was rude for correcting their pronouns that were on their name tag. I also remember them being autistic and I don't feel like they should have to be so misunderstood and hated on for having tone issues. I remember this employee who was an amazing soul and super helpful. They took their time and were always kind to me. Just because someone doesn't smile or have a high pitched voice doesn't mean that everyone should be attacking them. I miss seeing them when I go to the store, they helped me each time I came in and as someone who's also autistic and uses they/them pronouns, this cashier went above and beyond for me each time I saw them. I don't know what happened to them but the store hasn't been the same since. They were so respectful to me and my partner when correcting us on their pronouns. It's making me upset that all of these reviews complaining about being corrected on their pronouns yet still using she/her pronouns while talking about them in these reviews show these negative reviews wouldn't be on here if the customers pay attention and be respectful. Read moreI brought these beautiful accent chairs last week online. I got a email 2 days later the chairs was on sale for $300 cheaper. I paid $230 for shipping. I received an email from the company that my chairs arrived in Atlanta. Apparently World Market used Pilot Freight for their shipping. Now Pilot Freight gave me a 2 weeks appointment to deliver my chairs to me. If I knew my accent chairs would take this long I would never purchase them. Why not used FedEx or USP I would have gotten my chairs. Now my chairs are sitting in Pilot warehouse for 2 weeks before they can deliver them to me. Don’t forget now I paid $230 for delivery for accent chairs. I haven’t received my chairs and already disappointed.
Edited I called the shipping company and demanded they deliver my chairs sooner. I received my chairs and both chairs are damaged. I called them immediately they told me the shipping company will contact me in 7 business days to make an appointment to pick up at my chairs. After they receive the chairs they will send me a replacement. I have to call back the shipping company to make an another appointment for them to deliver the replacement back to me. We checked out and the clerk was fine. She don’t smile or wasn’t friendly, but that’s totally cool with me. I’ve been to countries where hospitality isn’t the same as you’d expect in the south.
Upon exiting, I noticed she rung up my receipt wrong. So we went back in and kindly asked her to give the discounted price on the item I purchased. She was extremely rude, muttering something beneath her breath. She flung the receipt into the air instead of handing it to us and said “have a good night,” in a disgusted voice. I’ve never really experienced such strange and rude behavior from any store in the area.
We were nothing short of polite with her. She was extremely inconvenienced, but it’s not our fault she rung us up incorrectly.
