WOW!! Amazing!! Above and Beyond!!! For Mother's Day I received a massage from one of my kids. So I decided to make it a day of pampering and added a facial. I have been here several times. The facility is always clean and they provide many of the things you will need; robes, hair ties, showering supplies, etc. Before I got started with the services, I took advantage of their facility and took some time to enjoy sitting in the steam room. This got me ready for my massage. I chose the Relaxtion Massage which was exactly as stated, relaxing. I was able to relax while Art was able to get rid of my very sore back and tight neck. I almost fell asleep it was so relaxing. I also added an aromatherapy upgrade which made it more special. Then I moved on to my Anti-Aging Facial with Chloe. Oh My Gosh! This was so moisturizing and wonderful! This facial removed the hyper pigmentation that I had on my face and my nose never felt smoother. Here is where they went ABOVE and Beyond.........while Chloe was getting my blackheads, it was rather daunting and I experienced a medical emergency for a chronic health problem that I have. My great fortune was that Chloe is also an ER nurse. She was able to understand what had happened and provided me with loving care; allowing me to stay in her room (she did not have another client for a while) for a long period of time, so I could rest. Once I was feeling a little better, she helped me call my family so someone could pick me up. She assisted me with getting up and taking me the car. She even checked up on me a few days later. Also, Lee the manager contacted me to make sure I was feeling better. I mean this goes beyond their everyday tasks; each of them genuinely cared about me. Mind you, I had left their facility without paying for any of my services. Each time they checked up on me, they did not pressure me to pay. In fact, Lee offered me a discount, because he wanted to alleviate any poor experience I may have had. None of my emergency was the fault of Burke Williams, but they treated me as if I was their family member. I was so grateful for them caring for me. I will continue to return to Burke Williams in the future. I want to personnaly thank Chloe and Lee for all that you did for me. I will never forget...
Read moreI went to this location approximately a few weeks ago and absolutely dreaded the experience. I requested a new masseuse and upon meeting him I immediately knew that I was going to regret this decision. Let’s start at the beginning. I usually receive the 80 minute Burke Williams massage accompanied with hot stones. My masseuse spent about 30 minutes just squeezing me, it was the most awkward experience of my life. After doing so he finally got to the hot stones and then placed a rather large towel on my back and then placed the hot stones on the towel.
(What in the world)
I am a member here at Burke Williams and I have never experienced anything as such. I couldn’t even feel the stones. I then communicated this with the masseuse and he then tells me that he can’t directly place the hot stones on my skin. Mind you, this is the usual massage I receive and I have received the hot stone treatment directly on my skin plenty of times. I also asked him what time the location closed and he couldn’t even give me an answer! He spent the next 30 minutes just rubbing my legs and only massaged my left arm for a few minutes. He then tells me I only have ten minutes left so what would I like for him to massage. He completely forgot about my other arm! I had to keep telling him to adjust his pressure because I could barely feel his hands, I know I didn’t ask for a deep tissue but I do enjoy firm pressure.
Finally, upon completion he tells me my massage is over and sits down in a chair. He doesn’t even leave the room, I then excuse him and he hands me my underwear— not even my robe my underwear.
This experience was downright humiliating, not only did he just rub lotion on my legs but he didn’t respect me as a Burke Williams member let alone a client. He was extremely unprofessional and I will never be returning to...
Read moreOverall experience was kind of meh.
I was there to get a 65min facial gifted to me. And in March they had one free add on svc from a choice of 5.
My facialist was very experienced but too light of a touch. More pressure on massage portions would have been more therapueutic.
This was pricey and not a luxe spa experience. The other guests large parties of women are loud and talkative. IT WAS WAY TOO CROWDED. No where to hang your robe. The slippers are not comfortable. A woman was on her cell phone too. They left wet towels all over the lounge chairs and room and did not pick up after themselves. The lemonade was empty bc its a favorite I guess.
There are no snacks like nuts or chocolates or bananas. Only apples. I was promised an orange and it did get delivered to me after asking 2x.
The temp is jacuzzi is not hot enough. Too loud all the rambunctious women in large parties. I wasnt able to relax at all. It was actually stressful to me.
There are very few chairs by the jacuzzi.
The chilled ice towels are too tiny in size a small square. Hard to wrap around my neck.
Small steam room - not hot enough temp wise. Same for dry sauna. Not sure the purpose of the misting shpwer room.
The facial was good - happy w the results. But they dont tell u that u shouldnt go into steam room or wash your face after a facial. So i didnt really get to enjoy all the facilites much after my facial. Due to hunger I just left early. The place was too loud and crowded anyways.
I think there are better relaxation spas and more of a luxe vibe in other places.
Overall the total experience was mid. I think for $240 (65 min facial) more could be offered than just waters, lemonade and herbal tea.
The place...
