TLDR; We weren’t sure what kind of ring we could afford, but Samy at OCDE created gorgeous ring for us.

My fiancé and found such a beautiful engagement ring at OC Diamond Estate Jewelry! With our tighter budget, I already accepted that the ring may have to be modest. You hear about people having 20k rings which felt unrealistic for us. But the selection within our range was incredible with so many beautiful rings from the 1800s to modern. I love that my ring combines everything about the old saying.. It’s something old, new, borrowed, and blue :)

Modern engagement rings didn’t align with our hopes of design, ethics, and sustainability. So we looked for antique and vintage. After striking out at other spots, we are so glad we went to OCDE. OC Diamond Estate Jewelry is Samy and Samy is OCDE. Samy was so patient with during our two visits. We were shown ~200 rings and he helped narrow to our top ten favorites. Samy never pushed us to go over our budget. Even when we didn’t feel we found The One, Samy was graciously offered customization. He combined two rings I loved. Samy’s graciousness was at every step of the process. During removal when, unfortunately, the stone I loved chipped, Samy personally selected a higher quality stone to replace it. We stopped in to browse for an anniversary gift and walked out having purchased the perfect ring! Sammy's collection spans a wide range of pieces and budgets, and he really takes the time to find the piece that best speaks to you. Because he deals in estate jewelry, this is a great spot to find unique pieces that will please even the most discerning buyer.

We purchased a beautiful gold and platinum ring, set with a heritage sapphire and diamonds. Sammy sized it up for us, and the additional gold is indistinguishable from the original setting. I loved the ring and his service so much that when I went back to pick it up, I walked out with a beautiful pair of earrings. These were set in silver with lab blue and white sapphires.

I'm so happy I found this place :) My boyfriend and I got engaged and we were looking for THE ring ya know. I wanted something that has character and a story behind it (and also eco-conscious) so we started looking at some stores in the neighborhood. The first few stores we went to were okay but nothing really speaks to me. But something was missing and we still felt really lost. Then we saw this store on our way to the next place but it was closed and I'm so glad we decided to call them. They were soooo welcoming, warm, and sweet, I felt like family. I was impressed with the huge selection that they have there. The owner was willing to work with us on everything we needed, from pricing, to payment plans (since we have a budget), to resizing.
