I’ve been coming here for nearly my whole life as an Orange County native and have really enjoyed my time here but unfortunately that has to come to an end. This recent time I went to browse, I was treated as if I was an unaccompanied minor which I understand my appearance tends to look a few years younger than my age but that is still no excuse for the repeated treatment I received during my recent visit here. A rather aggressive female employee kept repeatedly “checking up” on me and even followed me between floors and watching me from as little as 3 feet away as I shopped which made me incredibly uncomfortable and absolutely implied that she thought I was stealing which is an incredibly upsetting assumption especially in a place I’ve been frequenting for many years. Not to mention she made a snide remark regarding me appearing as suspicious to her to some other shoppers in the same booth as me and encouraged them to join in on heckling me over her false assumptions. I will not be returning to OCAM due to the treatment I received here based simply off of my appearance which is such a shame because this is really a time where small businesses should encourage people to come enjoy what they...
Read morePrices are extremely high! The worse part is the two older cacaussian women running the register. My first time there the taller old lady accused me of short cutting and wouldn't even let me get a word in, she had to ask and verify with everyone behind me to make sure I didn't short cut anyone. She humiliated me, she's lucky I held my composure because I wanted to go off on her and her Co worker, but as I left she gave the same treatment to the girl behind me. They seem like they are on drugs ! Look at the other reviews they complain of the same rude customer service. My bf and I whent back, as we had to kill time, as another antique store was trying too figure a price on a item for us. a I found a cabbage patch doll, the older lady was so bothered for asking the doll to be wrapped in paper lol omg, the other girl who humiliated me left the register as soon as she recognized me 🤣 I had my bf pay at first because I didn't want too deal with these two scum bags, I had time today if the wanted too try their b.s. stay away. & if you do go and they give you bad mouthing, say something too them. No good deals. There's two more in the same area, super friendly people and amazing deals, much...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since I was in high school (almost 4 years now), this shop has always had a place in my heart ever since I walked in there for the first time and I’ve never really had a problem with the workers here til the last two times I’ve walked into this store. I came in really recently and the cashier was a bit rude. She barely bothered to ask how my day was and was eager to finish my transaction so that she could attend the white ladies behind me (I’m hispanic). She practically shoved the bag in my face and I had to awkwardly reach upwards to grab the handles of my bag and leave. My brother and I didn’t get a bye, have a good day, see you next time etc. But as soon as the white ladies walked up to the counter there was a 180° change in motive and immediately sparked up a conversation with them. The guy next to her had a better attitude but even then so did not say anything til I was the one that said thank you first and then he finally said thanks as I was walking away from...
