1886 Brewing Co. - Orange — Restaurant in Orange

Excellent atmosphere, the bartenders were really working there tails off to make sure everyone got a drink asap. No one had to wait more then a second when I went up to the bar, the guy was really taking care of business behind the bar. It was a great place to have a private event perfect for our High School Reunion. They made sure of that with security at the door, and kept our party private. They also serve food but I did not have anything. They had an outside patio in the back that was really great also. The only thing is that the area has become such a College Town, parking can be a problem but now the City of Orange built a brand new parking structure 4 story, at the Orange Circle go West on Chapman Turn Right on Lemon, it not far to walk less then 500 feet away. So it was cool. I and it was free, I highly suggest using that parking structure. The brewery had several beers to chose from. It was an actual brewery really nice and clean, hugh distillery, very nice. They make there own beer and had a variety of beer to chose from as well as a full bar, with hard liquor. Double Bonus. they had Everything you wanted there. The drinks were great I had a whiskey sour and it was impressive. Not everyone knows how to make a good mixed drink. They make there own beer on site, it was very impressive. A lot of money went into the design of that place. Really nice. The brewery has it's own stage, but no real sound system to speak of. When the band unhooked there gear, we could no longer use the microphone, which was a problem so next time we will bring a bullhorn, that was the only hiccup. The even had a water cooler with ice and lemon slices at the end or the bar, serve yourself. One of my friends told me that she went up to the chick bartender and asked for a water and the girl totally blew her off and just walked away, didn't even bother to tell her that they had a self serve water cooler at the end of the bar. There was a lot of people there which made it impossible to see. So all I can say about that chick bartender is - just because you know that doesn't mean everyone else would of known that, especially because the place was so crowded. the bartender chick should of told the girl where the cooler was, obviously she needs to work on her people skills. But I refuse to allow a bimbo-bartender (bimbo-artendar) ruin our reunion. So I give the place a 10 star rating, and the guy on the front part of the bar at the front door entrance, well he rocked, not bad looking either. He was a great bartender. Which made my first impression a great one. That's why I'm not holding the bimbo against you guys. Right on.. . Thanks you !!! 1886 is so much more than a Brewing Company...total Dining, Imbibing w/ Original Brewery in full view that makes for an entertaining experience! Sports Bar🍻 Galore... Giant Flatscreens 📺 TVs in every view. Staff is swift & the deals r always exceeding expectations. Football 🏈 games r so fun 2 watch in this Brewery. Such an amazing place in an amazing Americana Old Towne location. Wow

Fantastic addition to Plaza District! Thriving cuz of all the noticable hard work and efforts. Brewery alone is stellar...luv the huge copper stills front 2 back ( large spot 2). Incredible how you show the easily complex process of beer making so easily. Thx Then combine Sports bar w/ flat screen 📺 TVs every few feet it seems. And it does have authentic real wood 🪵 bar long ways running entire length of location. Super Cool. The food is delicious & has creative comfort food vibe cuisine type restaurant...again combine and its pretty epic. Nice and open with lots of sun☀️ light. Really cool architecture inside and out. Name is cuz building 🏫 from 1886 ( black plaque in front at top of bricks). Seriously the inside design is extremely welcoming...just like the staff. Totally Refurbished just B4 grand opening of recent years. Took over Georges Antiques. Yeah...place is choice gorgeous design.

1886 really does go out of way and are sincere to enhance Ur experience with genuine smiles & competent skills. When asked if we could take sum photos they were extremely open and even posed for a few makN silly faces. Awesome experiences and we always look forward 2 returning. Very pet friendly & aware w/ water bowl and safe space.

Usually have daily craft beer specials and Wkd brunch deals w/ beer 🍻 and mimosas 🥂 deals. Yeah, ...defly digg this all-in-one entertainment joint. Like an upscale dive bar...Highly Recommend Kindly Drink Safely Please. Enjoy...lots of reasons @...

Like with most places in the circle, good luck finding parking. But once you have found it, it's worth it. There are so many good places to explore. At 1886 there was a bit of a wait so we got on the list and we walked around the corner and there was live jazz music playing. We waited for like 20 min and got seated. The front patio serves drinks and you can grab one while you wait Our table and chairs had been wiped clean before we were seated. The waitress was nice and helped us answering our questions about the menu. We ordered a fields forever mule and a live stream cream ale. I had the mule and it was very good, it's sweet but not to sweet. Just perfect. As for the beer I'm sure it's good but I was really here for the food. 😁 We ordered the rosemary roasted chicken and the 1886 burger. The chicken was delicious and the Brussel sprouts were tasty and crunchy. The serving was generous. As for the burger we almost didn't order it and I would have regreted it. We ordered the meat medium well to well done. (No pink) the burger was like an explosion of flavor. So delicious 😋 the fries were really good too. The seasoning they add makes them very tasty. I definitely recomend it. The restrooms were clean and they had a changing table. I also liked that they had a place for you to put your drink on in case you had it with you. Oh they have a patio in the back that I loved. I'm going to have to ask to be seated there next time I come. There are many breweries to go to. I recomend coming to this one if you are feeling a little more "sophisticated". My definition of this here is no children and here for the company. Children are welcome but they may not sit still and let you enjoy. (At least I know mine...
