What an unfortunate, horrible experience we had. Located half way down form the circle, the place is good sized with lots of character thanks to the old brick building in which it is situated. The place was dirty, trash on the floor, the beverage station was a mess and under stocked and thus was within an hour of them opening. The service was REALLY bad, the guy making the pizzas made it clear that he didn't want to be there, and the cashier was pretty clueless.. hopefully new and not yet experienced. The pizza guy was making pizzas using severely curved tins which caused the toppings to collect in the middle of the pie, only made worse when same pizza guy literally tossed the pizzas in the oven causing the toppings to further collect in the middle. Also, same guy seemed put off when made aware that he messed up the salad we ordered - ranch dressing doesn't go on the Italiano salad. Finally, the line got super long as soon as more than two people were waiting. I put it on the poor service. Very surprised to see such a half-hearted effort when the food is very average and there is a fast-pizza competitor a half block away.. Blaze Pizza is just on the circle.

The workers here have the absolute worst attitude. Being in hospitality myself I understand guests can be a pain in the butt and I try to make their lives easier. But wow the two miserable people had attitudes more sour than their cheese...FYI they don't carry Bleu Cheese. That is legit moldy cheese just chilling there. Where is the sense of pride or integrity in your product, hell this isn't even "quiet quitting" this is just plain laziness and a disregard for food safety. Is moldy cheese going to kill someone...no...but if stuff like this happens it begs the question of what else is going on in the back and what kind if standards does this location have? As for the front, they had maybe 3/4 of the tables dirty, definitely needed an extra body to help wipe down tables,

Amazing and clean pizzeria in an amazing ambiance with reasonable pricing. The staff was very friendly and patient with me and my girlfriend. The worker that helped me, his name was Nick, he DID NOT skimp out on the amount of toppings with my custom pizza. He put a GOOD amount of toppings that filled me with the 3rd slice. Really worth paying $2.50 to make it double dough. We couldn't even finish our pizza which I'm usually able to do at similar build-your-own pizzerias. We ate at the outside table area and the architecture of Old town Orange at night really added to the experience. Memorable and will be coming back.

There seems to be an explosion of these quick-fire pizza places. I've gone to Pizza Press a few times now and it's always good. They have a vast array of toppings, 4 types of sauces to choose and they are not at all skimpy with the toppings. But the best part!?!?! BEER! Yes, they have a great selection of craft beer with about 20 taps plus many bottles to choose from. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that all of times I've been there it has always taken a while to pay... Let me explain. You order your pizza and move down the line. At the end you can choose any finishing toppings, they slice it and put it in order for you to pay. The cashier happens to also be the person pouring beers. The backup happens when there is only one cashier working, and people start asking for tastes of various beers, which is helpful, however this invariably causes the line to back up and your pizza to slowly cool as you wait to pay. I would suggest on 'peak demands' they have someone pouring beers while another rings...

I have been a long time customer of pizza press and the service here has just gotten worse over time. Today specifically I called in an order for a single cheesy bread and was told by the employee (who put me on hold twice) that my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I show up and my order hasn't even begun to be made and I pay for order and the lady told me no more than 5 minutes. Mind you there was only two people waiting for pizzas and 1 party ordering, it was not busy. I continued to wait and after 5 minutes it was not out so I went to my car and come back within ten minutes and the employee thought I left so she was eating my cheesy bread. So now I had to wait for them to make me a brand new one and it wasn't until I complained that it was not acceptable to give inaccurate times and not even leave the item or offer to give a refund or something until the customer asks. I'm so over this service, the food is good but from someone who works in customer service, I don't appreciate the lack of care for the customer. I...
