Berry Hill Shopping Center — Local services in Oregon City

This shopping center/area never got revitalized during the real estate boom or the recovery. Possibly because of its location and the fact that you literally have a straight road that goes for miles with nothing but large lots of business. There's one on either side, across the street, etc. Having grown up in the Clackamas, Milwaukee, Oregon City side of town. (Yes there's a difference. Well there was in the 80's and 90's. Downtown included both sides of the river, 82nd, NE Portland, us and Hilsboro and Tigard where too far away to count). It's no secret that ecommerce is crushing the brick stores and with location being everything the future for Barry Hill is looking bleak. I hope it survives and new business opportunities will take hold in the neighborhood but it's going to take an investment on the part of the owners as it's in need of a facelift. Oh man, I remember this place when I was a kid, basically it was a bunch of berry bushes. That and the Belozers egg farm. This place has been built up nicely, if you're interested in building things up, my favorite thing at Albertsons they haven't carried in 35 years. My very favorite ice cream. I think it was called tropical cooler. It actually had like grapefruit flavor in it. Man. That was the best! I don't know why they don't keep selling good things and have to keep switching to new flavors all the time at all. The different stores. But anyways yeah it's a nice place. Dutch Bros is hands down my favorite coffee spot! Their drinks are always top-notch, with a huge variety of options to choose from, whether you’re in the mood for a classic coffee, an energy drink, or a delicious blended treat.
