EDIT: as of today, March 17, 2024, I can safely say that most of the brands on the menu have gotten way better with the trimming and quality (that's on the suppliers, not the actual dispensary), while the prices have gotten a bit higher, it is still infinitely cheaper to buy from here versus going to windy City. A brand that really stands out to me is botanist, definitely try the strawberry bubbles #4/5 if you see it. Aside from that, try the 7 gram "smalls" bags, I got the strawberry milkshake strain today and it's so good. Thanks again guys, keep doing what you do. EDIT 2: I came by 2 times today, and was very happy with everything I bought. Botanist has a few new strains, out and I feel they are still the best brand on the menu. I came by in the morning, and the card reader messed up, please do NOT blame the male budtender I had, he was all smiles and super pleasant despite having to restart the machine. I came by around an hour before you closed, and it was the same all smiles experience. Guys, just go here, you won't regret it! Went in for a single item. Checked out at the kiosk. Walked up to the register, saw the girl look at my ID in a weird way and may have heard he utter something about a fold. She went to go talk to a couple other people at the opposite side of the cashier counter to ask about the ID being “bent,” but after a few minutes it was just getting to be ridiculous so I walked to the end of the counter where she was and told her that if the ID wasn’t going to work to just give it to me now so we can move on. She dragged the process out a few minutes longer by going back to the other side of the counter to check with yet another manager whose name is “Javier.” He went on to tell me that they couldn’t take the ID cause it was “bent.” All I can say is the ID scans, it is perfectly legible, it is not expired, it is not suspended, my photo and all pertinent dates are very easy to read and not obstructed, I’ll even drop a photo of the picture part of my ID so you can see the extent of the “folds.” I’ve been into bars and other dispensaries (INCLUDING multiple ascend dispensaries) with it and only EVER had an issue one other time. Here’s my final logic on the issue: if the ID is good enough for a cop to write me a ticket using it (which has happened) then it should be good enough for me to buy a joint at your dispensary. All in all the ordeal probably cost me 30 minutes of my time if you include drive time. Save your money and buy weed at a better state. One where money makes sense and the employees are employees and not "bud tenders". Who create lines and all have a tip box cramming your view.

In this establishment or company, money does not make sense. Both a product 1 & 2 will be priced at a value of A but then you get the total and both products have a different value even though they are both priced the same. (yes i read the silly illinois rules on taxing, I'm not speaking of this)

Now lastly I really dislike the amount of employees who really just create a line. I struggle being a customer and what is the bud tender for? too look at me panicking and do a weird stretch? No suggestions? no help no nothing. At Midway sometimes the bud tenderd look at you in anticipation of a tip. What is the point of these incompetent workers and why do they deserve any tips at all? I will never again support this establishment. Anyone else reading trust me; do your best to spend very little here, your money belongs at real dispensaries not here in Taxillinois. $100 here gets you nothing but a empty headed bud tender and maybe 3 items. This is not okay. Not to mention one of these bud tenders had a temper tantrum at me once because there's to many silly rules in this fumb establishment.
