Eiffel Waffle- Tinley Park — Restaurant in Bremen Township

Before i write this review, i just want to say I'm a food critic, and a detail oriented person. To start my initial thoughts driving past was this place looks like a must try. Good reputation on social media, good location, nice outdoor seating area, therefore i decided to try it. Upon walking in the the store, the dirty floors and messy and unorganized counter immediately caught my eyes. The floors were absolutely unacceptable for a place that serves food and deserts. I walk to the counter, and none of the workers greet or say anything to me. I can tell that they’re very unorganized, and very inexperienced. I order a shake because the staff couldn't explain to me what the waffle iced cream was. I waited 15 minutes for a small Oreo milkshake. It tasted absolutely disgusting, it looked like someone poured milk and threw oreos in a cup. Im extremely disappointed after visiting, my expectations were so high. To eiffel waffel, please manage this store better. It cant be the brand, it has to be employees that arent doing theyre job right. Ive heard amazing reviews about other locations. But so far nothing but bad...

This was a fun little spot I came across while scrolling social media. My first visit here did not disappoint. It was so good that I gobbled it down before taking a picture!! They make their own ice cream and there is a huge variety that they allow you to sample before making a choice. I had the lotus (they dont serve the cinnamon any more but it sounded heavenly) and it was delicious! I chose to make my own treat and topped it with the fresh strawberries and bananas drizzled with condensed milk and a sprinkle of lotus bits. Yummy is an understatement! The ice cream and toppings were decadent and mouth wateringly fresh! The waffle was soft and slightly sweet but the ratio to ice cream left me with a little to be desired. Not enough ice cream for my taste but it was so delicious. Make sure you bring lots of wet wipes because your treat will drip. But that's a great opportunity to lick your fingers! Wow! When we walked in, the line was long and a little daunting, but it didn’t matter, because they were so fast! I was even more impressed, because they just opened and they were operating like a well oiled machine and communicated so well with each other. And beyond that, I got the “Oh la la surprise”, and it was SO delicious. It was so big, I couldn’t even finish half! So I took It home and it stayed cold (with NO melting) the whole 10 minute drive home and I was nervous because of the warm waffle. Completely intact like I just bought it!!!!! And lastly, I was shocked by the prices in a GOOD way. They were so reasonably priced. When walking in, I expected the items to be more expensive than they were, and that was a great surprise.
