I purchased furniture from this location last September and have yet to receive my complete order. The delivery experience has been one inconvenience after another. First of all, our delivery dates have been moved numerous times forcing my family and I to accommodate Bob's Furniture schedule by disrupting our own. Then instead of providing us with our complete order they deliver the items separately (I feel this is how they're finally able to begin charging for the invoice). I paid for the "White Glove Delivery;" however, when my items arrived the delivery people stated that the 2 dressers would not fit up my stairs. I had previously measured the items and confirmed they would fit. The delivery person stated that the items must remain inside the box prior to being put into place. This didn't make any sense to me, I paid for the special delivery and assembly. Now I was being told that the box (which I did not have measurements for) would not fit. They advised that they did not work for Bob's, per say, even though they had Bob's jackets on. I assumed they work subcontracted. I then took it upon myself to remove the boxes and, with the help of another person, move both items up my stairs into my bedroom without incident. Shortly after the delivery of our bedroom furniture we were supposed to receive our living room set; however, they were only able to provide us with one couch and our tables, there was issues with the recliner inventory. They then gave us a new date for January, this was cancelled yet again. Our newest date is for the end of February. My family and I, yet again, had to alter our work/personal schedules because we did not want to miss an opportunity to finally receive our items. A few of the items that were delivered were damaged or not working. The phone charger for our nightstand does not work, the power strip for our end table does not work, there is as small chip of paint on our coffee table that appears to have fallen off revealing what appears to be particle board underneath. The quality and delivery has been absolutely unacceptable, especially given the price. "Discount?!?", not at all....
Read moreI WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING EVER AGAIN FROM BOB'S. My husband and I went in on 09/30/2017 to order a couch, as we were in the midst of moving and had thrown ours away earlier in the day. When we walked into the store there were 3 sales people who took one look at us and walked away, (i guess we didn't fit Bob's standard of dress). We managed to walk around the store for 10 minutes before a sales person ran up behind us and asked if any of her salespeople acknowledged us, to which we replied - NO. She then apologized and pointed us in the right direction. We eventually found a couch we liked and tracked her down so we could purchase it. Once it was purchased we set up delivery and the earliest it could be delivered was 10/14/2017. Not having a couch, because we threw ours out it was a bit of a wait , but we liked the couch and decided to have it delivered then. So here it is 10/14/17...delivery day. We were unsure of the delivery time so when we called to check we were told there was no delivery scheduled for us today, Immediately we called customer service. We were told that we told that it wasn't going to be delivered until 10/28 and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry for the inconvenience???? If you were sorry then someone should have called us to tell us that we would have to wait over a month for a couch. Being a bi-racial couple I'm used to discrimination but this is absolutely ridiculous. Your sales people didn't want to help us because we looked like we had no money, but we did and we used it to pay for a couch that seems to never be coming. I am so disgusted with Bob's and their Sales and Customer Service, and I will be telling all my friends and family to never shop there. I think I may be contacting Bob's to cancel my order, i mean I had to buy a futon to have something to sit on so I guess I have time to shop around for someone who actually wants my...
Read moreMy husband and I just purchased our first home, and Bob's Furniture was one of many places we visited to furnish our home. One advantage that Bob's has over other stores is a great supply of furniture in the store. You can feel the textures and the softness, and see the range of colors available. Another advantage is the number of helpful, available staff members there to assist in a non-pressuring way.
We had two outstanding staff members who assisted us in this process, and they both were invaluable. The first time we came in we worked with Linda. She greeted us at the door in a friendly manner, helped us to find furniture that we loved, and she gave us great advice. The second time she helped us to make some adjustments based on new pieces that were available, and she put together a quote for us for when we would come in after the closing. The third time we were assisted by Adrianne. She, too, greeted us at the door in a friendly manner, she patiently worked with us, answering all of our questions and concerns. She was courteous and honest, personable, professional and well able to seal the deal for us. She set up delivery at a very convenient time, and we can't wait for the furniture to get here!
