Cherokee Park — Attraction in Orlando

Really nice tot lot and really soft thick grass. There is a very nice jungle gym for the little kids younger than 5 and a bigger one for older kids. A huge bonus is there are frequently low flying planes landing at the nearby airport (they are mostly quiet single engine planes with the occasional slightly more noisy small jet). This is a simple park with a well-kept green area and trees. There is a dog & human fountain. Ignore old reviews because the park was remodeled removing items. Good for dogs if they listen 100% or are leashed... since the park is unfenced on...

Lovely wide open park. Great for a picnic but in the early evening, a lot of big dog owners let their dogs run off leash to work off...
