I recently visited Earthy Picks Vegan Cafe in downtown Orlando, and it was an amazing experience! The cafe has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with beautiful hand-painted murals and comfortable seating options both inside and outside.

The menu is packed with delicious plant-based options. I tried the Nutty Temptation Tacos, and they were absolutely fantastic! The combination of walnuts, mushrooms, and spices created a rich, savory flavor that was perfectly complemented by fresh pico de gallo and avocado.

I also had the Hearty Lentil Soup, which was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. It was the perfect dish for a cozy meal, packed with nutritious ingredients and seasoned to perfection. The New Age Burrito was another highlight. Filled with massaged kale, quinoa, black beans, crispy onions, sweet plantains, cilantro, avocado, and a delightful cilantro aioli, it was a burst of flavors and textures in every bite. I passed through town on my way home from a business trip to come to Earthy Picks because of the high reviews. I’m vegan, and I always love when work takes me to bigger cities because I know that I will actually get in good meals! I’ve been to cities like New York, Chicago, Milwaukee… eaten at dozens of different vegan restaurants. I wouldn’t come on here to write a review if my experience hadn’t been so incredibly exceptional. Truly, Earthy Picks is THE best vegan restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, but on top of that, the New Age Burrito was THE best burrito I have had. I will be desperately trying to remake that meal at home. I know that I will have to go out of my way the next time I’m in Florida to get to experience that again. I’m debating on whether the food was better, or the atmosphere. I knew none of the staff but I felt like I was sitting down with a group of friends. The energy radiating off of everyone tonight was a reminder to me that strangers are just friends that we haven’t met yet. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Earthy Picks in Lake Eola, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements their plant-based menu.

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is a vibrant celebration of flavors, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I tried the brunch special Nacho Cheezy Fiesta and substituted the meat option with Beyond Meat and the New Age burrito, and both were absolutely divine! The creativity and care that goes into each plate is evident, making it a paradise for both vegans and non-vegans alike.

The staff at Earthy Picks are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain the menu and even offered great recommendations based on my preferences.

To top it off, the location is perfect—right in the heart of Lake Eola. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a healthy, delicious meal after a stroll around the lake.
