I'm posting after my second rude encounter, which ultimately screwed me before going on a trip for a wedding. I use Evolve Aesthetics off Edgewater, both facilities being in Orlando, so when I used voice search to call, it chose Evolving Aesthetics. I explained how I was just in, how I wanted to do more, asked about previous visit costs and adding discount for next visit, and confirmed scheduled date wasn't too soon after last visit, and that it would allow for me to catch my flight that evening. The woman I spoke with eluded from the nonexistent visit, convincing me everything could be taken care of with no time restraints, and that there was even an additional discount that they would send me the link to get, after taking my info. I never received that link, but 3hrs later I received a confirmation email, which I disregarded, because I had already marked my calendar. Appointment day is when I realized my mistake, and there was no availability at my usual aesthetician's office. It's one thing to poach clients, but they were next level thirsty. I was on the phone for over 9 minutes describing my patient history and concerns, and they chose to say whatever was needed to get my contact info and appointment scheduled, which seems like a HIPPA violation to me. Even if the person I spoke to was just confused, by the time they sent the email confirmation, there was plenty of time to realize I was never their patient, and they could have called me back to admit the mistake. I never went to that appointment, and yet I still received an automated "How was your visit?" survey, which really illustrates their impersonal business style. After telling my story to a few people, I was informed that this location has a habit of making disingenuous appointments. I looked them up online and that's when I remembered my first odd encounter with them. I used to visit their location, but for someone who rented space there. I had been going there for over a year. Last time I walked in, I asked for "name" for "services" and they all told me they had no idea who or what I was talking about. I realized I missed a text with updated address, and it was literally two doors down. Thee most twilight zone atmosphere with all the stepford'ticians gaslighting, and for no reason, because they didn't provide the same services. Customer service speaks volumes, and if they felt comfortable taking advantage of a misdial, I can't imagine how they would...
Read moreToday was my third cosmetic treatment - once at another shop, which felt like a big factory clinic, churning people in and out. Today was my second at Evolving Aesthetics.
I love the personal nature here. While smaller, the setting is refined, comfortable, professional and confidence inducing. Not stuffy or haughty like some places can be. Super relaxing.
I had the VI Peel, which I once before years ago, so I didn't have a lot of questions or concerns. But still, Maggie actively kept me informed.....told me what she was going to do, and then told me when she was doing it (it's a multi-step process). She listened to me about that I didn't have sensitive skin, so to err on the side of a stronger treatment than lighter. She obliged.
Afterward, I received a small box of all my after-care treatment products, with a pamphlet of day-by-day instructions. There's also an app with alerts to keep you on schedule. It couldn't be easier.
When I booked this appointment, I had requested a consultation on another procedure and they were happy to oblige. I did all my research and thought I knew what would work for me - I was wrong. Monica explained what would be more appropriate and why - and it would be about the same cost than what I thought I wanted. There was clearly no upsell going on - just care that I'd be happy with the results.
And for another concern she might not be able to help with as well as I'd like, she provided the name of a doctor who could address my concerns spot-on. Her endorsement fueled more confidence in this other practice.
Anyway, great experience all around. Appt was a 10a, I was back in my car at 10:36.
Do your research - its essential to feel comfortable in these kinds of things. But my experience was stellar. So much so that I've already made my next appointment.

Read moreUpdate: I was long over due for a visit with Monica, but she took time to understand my updated goals and best treatment plan to achieve them. I touched up my Botox for help with migraines and TMJ in addition to aesthetic goals and my Juvederm lip filler. I am already feeling so refreshed and can't wait to see how it looks in a few weeks! I also took the plunge to do jawline filler as I have always been self-conscious about the lack of definition in that area. Monica was very patient and informative about where and how she would administer and made me feel so at ease! I truly can't imagine going to another practioner.
Update: I had my appointment with Monica and could not be happier with my results! She was able to give me a natural look, while still giving that extra “oomph” to my lips and balance out the asymmetry that I had naturally using Juvederm Voluma- we did one full syringe which was the perfect for me. We also did Botox in my forehead for prevention and migraines, as well as some in my mandible to help with TMJ. I look refreshed with just a small amount and no migraines in the last two weeks! During the appointment she put my nerves and I was pleasantly surprised at the pain level for me being very manageable. I’ve already scheduled my 3 mo. Botox touch up and am looking forward to additional treatments from her!
I just went for my consultation and Monica was so knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I am a first time patient of any aesthetic services and was very nervous, but Monica answered all of my questions and we came up with a plan to achieve my goals while easing into aesthetics. I can’t wait for my...
