Dr. DiDea is absolutely amazing. We feel very lucky that he has been our children’s pediatrician for over 4 years. Despite moving over an hour away, we still use him. He takes a generous amount of time to spend with each child. If I don’t understand everything he’s explained, he takes the time to really break things down so I can go home confidently and know how to handle the situation (e.g. illness, behavior, allergies, picky eating, etc). He’s extremely in-tune with body language so he catches very subtle things. He’s also been in practice for quite some time and had hundreds and hundreds of kids that he’s cared for from birth-18 years of age; patterns in behavior, personality and illness pop out at him quickly due to his wealth of experience. Dr. DiDea has a true passion for his profession. He is extremely intelligent and has a vast amount of experience. Add in his compassion, patience, sense of humor, wonderful bedside manner and thoughtfulness for each child and each individual question/concern… Dr. DiDea is the quintessential Pediatrician. It should also be said that Lisa, his Nurse is amazing too. She is so good with the kiddos and always has a big smile on her face. She is very calming and radiates kindness. When my daughter was an infant and some visits became stressful, she was so calming and helpful. She and Dr. DiDea make a great team! The front desk staff is also a step above the rest. They go above and beyond! Jose in particular has really helped us in spontaneous situations without even being asked. We love our visits here and are so grateful...
Read moreWhen my little girl was born in 1987, Dr Didea came into my hospital room and said, “Well, Mrs Bentley, the Lord makes perfect, beautiful, healthy babies, and you got one of them!” When my son Brandon, was born in 1993, he had a broad cleft lip and palate. It was then that the impact of Dr. Didea’s statement made a lasting impact on me. The doctors in attendance asked if I had known about my son’s birth defect ahead of time. Of course, I did not. (If I had, my son might not be alive. I was pro-choice at the time. I’m not anymore.) Had I been told what I was told after delivering my baby boy, he wouldn’t be here today. The doctors in the delivery room said, “This may be indicative of other anomalies. Your son may never walk or talk. He may be mentally and developmentally disabled” Only one doctor, whose name (ironically) was Brandon, leaned over to me and stated, “Mrs. Bentley, there’s no reason to believe you’re son won’t have a normal and happy life.” I wish I could go back and thank that man. My son played Division One baseball in college and is a practicing physician today. God creates babies. He has a plan for each and every one of...
Read moreWe first saw Dr. DiDea’s name when searching for a pediatrician prior to our daughter being born. We heard many great things about him from the hospital staff and acquaintances who have taken their children to him. We began taking our daughter to him after she was born and we could not be happier. Dr. DiDea is an excellent doctor who is professional and personal. He keeps us informed and provides us valuable feedback each visit. He is always willing to answer all of our questions. Each time we leave his office we feel reassured and knowledgeable. Overall I cannot emphasize how great our experience has been with Dr. DiDea and the whole staff at his office, from the moment we come in until we leave everyone is so welcoming and kind. We will continue to bring our daughter to...
