The owner, Brendan reached out to me and that was huge. I appreciate that. Bottom line is they are a stand up company. They received my feedback the way it was intended and again, giving them credit for that as well. We have had several experiences with Crane over the last 10 years buying appliances for a couple of properties. This time was different. I drove from Provincetown to Orleans to buy a washer because their website showed "Shop Early for Tax free weekend" and there was a washer on the website I wanted. Of course I get there and I was told by my salesman Tyler, that there were none in stock and they could order the machine but they had never sold one at any of their locations. He had no way of knowing if or when they would be able to get it in. Why is it on your website? Seriously. I finally ordered a machine that Tyler suggested and said was in stock but not in the showroom. (Mistake) Originally, I wanted a white machine but gray and black were what they had and I asked for gray. I was delivered a black machine. It doesn't have all the functions I was looking for but it will work fine. One of the bad things about not having it in stock and in the showroom is customers can't see what they are getting. I am sure they would say that they can't display all the models. I had to have a washer or else I would have returned it. Be careful when you see them have a sale online. Click Bait. You will get there and often find what they are advertising is a floor model with only one available or it could be a machine they don't even carry at all. Crane has been a good company for me in the past and this was definitely an exception. They are one of the few places on Cape that service the items they sell. I did call them and got nowhere. It was either refuse delivery and be without a washer for even longer or accept the machine. I accepted the machine and if I ever have to buy from them again, I will go in much more knowledgeable about their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter, shopping for a new washing machine at a big box store and a small appliance store, we stopped at Crane's in Orleans. The prior sales experiences at the other stores were abysmal! Crane experience could not have been better. We entered a well lit and organized store, then greeted by a very nice woman. We were quickly introduced to Robert C who answered EVERY question we asked. He was very patient and professional. We also inquired about some other appliances for a near future purchase. We selected a Maytag top loader with an agitator. Our choice, old school! The price was the same as Home Depot and quicker delivery. The delivery date was set. They calked the day before to confirm and then the next morning before delivery. Two very professional gentlemen delivered the new machine and removed the old one. They were in and out in about 20 minutes. We are EXTREMELY happy with Crane's and the Maytag washer. By the way, we are very picky. We will return to Crane's and Robert C to purchase a refrigerator, and...
