use to be awesome free parking and nice pavilion. now $ 23.00 dollars parking and the sand is not the powdery sand like the past it’s more rocky. Zero chance of driving on the beach with out a Jeep. I have a 4 wheel drive lincoln navigator got stuck. My understanding it’s being dredged from the river don’t know how true. $35.00 to drive on the beach. I use like to park on the beach and walk to riptides to eat. not coming back too expensive for a run down beach...

Used to be a nice family beach. This July 4th a group of 10 people set up a 10 x 10 canopy at waters edge. Also a card table with a grill and crock pot was there with a battery supply. There were only a foot away from other family's when they set up the canopy. Large caopys should be only set up next to the sea wall like other people do....
