Two stars only because it is located in my town. Otherwise, one star. 3 times my wife has had a problem when going to this library. The first time it was the rudeness of the staff. She gave up, but upon a recommendation decided to try it again. She was trying to train a colleague who drove a long distance and because it was only the two of them, was denied use of the study room. THERE WAS NO ONE USING IT NOR WAS IT RESERVED! No exceptions were made. None. Her guest, a business man, said that he did not feel welcome and does not like to give his business to places that don't make him feel welcome. She is willing to resume her drive to the nicer Aurora library because of the nice staff and willingness to accommodate. I also drive to Aurora library to conduct meetings because of her experience. I usually don't write reviews, but this is getting ridiculous. By the way, I decided to lower it to only one star for being in my town. Shame on you...
Read moreOkay, I was at OPL 1/24/25 to print copies and was pleasantly surprised, and grateful, they reduced the cost of blk/wh copies from .20 cents to .10 cents per copy. I'm so thankful. Thanks for lowering the cost of copies.
OPL is still a great place to grab a book, sit down and read.

Read moreUsually people come to library to sit for couple hours ! I came to this library to sit more than 3 hours. In order to get some energy I brought a coffee with a lid on. Unfortunately the whole library won't approve drinks even if it is covered. I regret to say that this type of regulation is unacceptable and not fair to the people who live in Oswego district.
