Great service. Excellent Staff All Around! Every person I encountered at this business was awesome. The sales manager, all the salespeople, the lady who confirmed my delivery and who called when my furniture didn't fit through my stairway, and the delivery guys! The salespeople aren't pushy and let me browse, when I was narrowing my choices they checked to see what was in stock for me several times. Everyone was very helpful. The first sectional I ordered wouldn't fit up the stairs at my new house (the long piece was too long to go around a tight corner up my stairway) so I had to go back and pick something different. The delivery guys took measurements and pictures from floor to ceiling from wall to wall and from corner to corner. They sent those pics and measurements to the store so the salesman could help me select something that would fit. The sales manager even grabbed a tape measure and measured every piece that I was interested in in the showroom to help me find something that would fit through that narrow entry in my house. They all made what could have been a stressful situation not stressful. The only thing that was a bummer was not having anything to sit on for another week, but that wasn't anyone's fault. They couldn't have known and I didn't take it into consideration when I purchased it. I just knew that it would fit the room it was going to be in. Had it not been for that one hiccup. And even though I had to order something different they didn't charge me another delivery fee like other places would have. Read moreOurs salesman, Michael and managers Kyle and Chris were awesome. As well as the finance guy. The delivery service people were friendly and professional. The problem is that we had some defects in the furniture that were so obvious that they have needed to be replaced, and so far we haven’t heard back after leaving emails and pictures to the service department to see what we should do next.( Please note: the people on the phone have been very polite and inderstaniding as we’ve been trying to work through the issues that have come up). I know one chair had to be reordered and that was ok. The coffee table was marred by incorrect placement of the screws underneath. The leather chair’s stitching was off center and not equal. I’m disappointed because what I ordered is not what I got. And, to order 3k in furniture and have to re-do a good portion of it this time isn’t pleasant. I’ve shopped at Furniture Deals since three days after they first opened on Overland Park, Ks. I would like to think this is just a fluke and some things just happened. Our last sofa and chair, ordered many years ago, served us well. So, I’m not sure what has happened this time. It has been unexpected. My suggestion would be for all items to be looked at thoroughly prior to delivery. Some people are really picky..I’m usually not… but I’m older now and want this to be really good. Read moreVery disappointed with our experience. It took 3 1/2 months to get our furniture. We ordered 2 recliners and a couch. After 3 months I stopped by the store store to find out the status of our furniture. Our chairs were at the warehouse, but were not told this. We would have liked to have had the chairs, even though the couch was not in. We had paid for delivery, but decided to pick the chairs up that evening instead of waiting 4 more days.
I returned to the store 2 weeks later to find out when the couch would be in. I was emailed 1 day later that the couch could be delivered in 3 days, with a 3 hour window. The driver called when they arrived at our house, but did not give us a call when he was 30 minutes away to allow us to get home to let them in. I had to give them the code to our garage, (which we did not want to do) and they dropped the couch off into our garage. They told us they don't bring furniture into the house, unless we pay more. We were not aware of this policy. I know the delivery men were very busy, but when customers wait 3 1/2 months for furniture, it would have been nice to have been given better customer service.
