I called to make an order for 6 dozen bagels as I have been told this place has some of the BEST, I was excited to place an order for a work event I have coming up. I called the Overland Park location first and Zeke, the manager told me they can't take orders over the phone, not even with payment and that I would have to go in to place the order. I work, I have 8 kids... I don't have time to go in just to place an order. So I called another location to see if they could take my order by phone. The girl was super sweet, said I can order online, and in the note section put the date I will be picking them up and they will have it ready for me. I thought GREAT... WIN/WIN! So I place the order online to the OP location since that is closest to my work and then I get a call from Zeak. I was unable to pick up as I was on a work call. So Zeak decides to leave a snarky voicemail about how they will not honor my order and that they are going to refund it and that's not how they do things. I thought to myself, my the world as charged, customer service isn't even a thing anymore! I called the KCMO store back to discuss the issue and to see if there was a way for them to work with me and the girl told me she was the owner's daughter and they always do pre-orders that way, ALL THE TIME and she would make sure my Bagels were ready. Not even 10 minutes later Pete the owner calls me to tell me he heard the story already, does not even ask me about my experiences. and how I would need to send my order through email and then pay, again. Even though my order was already paid for and they already knew my order, they will refund that. At that moment I was DONE! I had nothing nice to say, I will get the Bagels from somewhere else for Pete's sake, no pon intended.
I get having a process and following through on that process. But when your team is RUDE, and miss trained, its NOT the customer fault!!!!...
Read moreMeshuggah Bagels is a must-visit for bagel lovers in town. From the moment you step in, you can tell that they take their bagels seriously. Their bagels are phenomenal, and you won't find a better bagel in town.
We tried the original, chocolate chip, and everything bagels, and they were all spot on. The bagels were perfectly baked, with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior. The chocolate chips in the chocolate chip bagels were evenly distributed, and they added just the right amount of sweetness.
I even ordered more than a dozen as a Christmas gift, and it was a huge hit. Ordering online was convenient, and the bagels arrived fresh and delicious.
Meshuggah Bagels also offers bagel sandwiches, which we haven't tried yet, but we're excited to try them in the future.
Overall, Meshuggah Bagels is a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves bagels. Their bagels are undoubtedly the best in town, and their online ordering makes it easy to enjoy them at home. Don't miss out on this...
Read moreI went in for six bagels and some cream cheese this morning, I had a $20 gift certificate that a coworker had given me a couple years ago, there was absolutely no expiration date on this gift certificate. The employees refused to honor it, I believe it is absolutely ridiculous and just plain robbery to take someone’s money and not honor it especially when it had no expiration date on it. The manager on duty said “you can argue with me all you want but we will not honor it” another employee said that the owner doesn’t allow the gift certificates anymore. I called a different location and they said they would honor it. No problem, I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way for the gift certificate to be honored I believe each location is owned by the same owner so the fact that one location honored it and another one didn’t is completely ridiculous. I will Never visit this...
