Hawthorne Plaza — Attraction in Overland Park

It's a really nice specialty shopping center. A couple dozen stores, a half a dozen eateries, a couple banks. Specialty meaning nicer stuff. Parking is fantastic. Access is easy: 435 to Roe to 119th St for me. I went to Joseph A Bank to have some alterations done on some sport coats. It is the largest Joseph A Bank store I've ever been to. Large enough to have a full-time alteration service. It was great to be able to see all of the items on display. They had a lot in the store available. Definitely a great place to shop. I imagine the other clothing stores in the center were just as large and had just as nice of a selection. If you do a Google map search and your retailer is in this shopping center, go. This is the best jewelry store in Kansas City!! We worked closely with Denise to upgrade my engagement ring. She presented many ideas, was attentive throughout the whole process, and was so wonderful that she felt like family! I laughed and made fun of this stores' concept when they were building it. Fast forward a couple years and my wife and I have shopped there many times and always find stuff that helps keep things around the house nice and organized. Nice place to shop and very friendly staff. Stuff for bedrooms, garage, you name it....
