I have now made 6 trips here to try to get a proper fitting suit. Trip 1: In late March I went in to get fitted for a wedding the second week of May. Plenty of time. I was told then that they do not make my sizes in separates, roughly 52 jacket and 40-42 pants in a traditional fit. So we ended up with a 50 jacket and 48 pants, weird, right? Trip 2: tailoring is now done and our pick up is 1 business day before the wedding, kinda concerning, but whatever. Trips 3: I put on the jacket and the sleeves are skin tight on my arms and I cant even move enough to give a hug the pants had so much room in the legs that you could have put another person in them, we have less that 24 hours until the wedding so I go with it. Trip 4: I then go back in a week after the wedding to get it corrected because I just spend $500+ on a suit and damn well better fit. We then get the same exact run around that there are no separates in my size in either traditional or tailored fit, we thennreurst an exchange for a tailored fit because it atleast guves me a jacket that is the proper size and pants that are slightly smaller in the waist. Trip 5: Now 2 weeks later I go in to get the second suit fitted and low and behold it's not new its someone else's exchange that has already had tailoring done, also kinda weird. the jacket now fits, finally. Now to the pants still 5 inches to big in the waist and super baggy, we agree on a leg taper and it should get rid of the baggy nature of the pants. Trip 6: hoping and praying that this is lazy trip but of course not. The pants are still really baggy and er finally get some time with a tailor to look at things who aldo notices that the pants are still not right in other places now the leg taper has to come back out and the seat has to be tapered. We shall see what trip 7 brings in 2 weeks... To say I'm annoyed is an understatement, I'm embarrassed, I'm not a normal size I'm a college shot putter and about 5'7" 220lbs I'm very strong and have very large legs and shoulder and arms. I already have a hard time clothes and this whole experience has been the epitome of that. I really hope this gets fixed on the next trip, otherwise I'm gonna be asking for a straight refund... The whole time going here I've been working with Quentin, an assistant manager who was in charge of the suits for the entire party, only once out of the 6 times I've been in there has there seemed to be a true attention to to the customer the rest of the times hes been running around, trust me I understand high end retail I did it for 8 years and this is not how you treat people who ate making $500+ purchases especially when you have 8-10 people spending that much money. At first the guy was ok. He was a little pushy with what he expected my husband to wear in size. My opinion is that yes it needs to look good but if my husband canāt lift his arms and itās choking him then itās not the right size. My husband has to wear it and we are paying for it so donāt demand that he wear a certain size. Anyways we let that slide. When I went to check out my husband wondered off. The salesman was at counter when I walked up. He ignored me and bolted over to another section to help another customer. A few minutes later he returned to ring me up. They didnāt have the right size in one of the shirts that we wanted to be said that he could have it sent to our home. I asked āFor freeā (because come on we all have been screwed over by them saying that and not telling you they are going to charge you for shipping). He said āYeah, well actually for a good reviewā. I was still irritated but said ok. Iām still standing there waiting for him to finish and he bolts off back to the other customer!!! They werenāt even asking for his attention! Are you kidding me right now I thought. So he comes back and says āDo you want your receipt printed or emailed?ā I say āPrinted pleaseā. Then get this. He says āOh your not a millennium of course you want it printedā. I was dumbfounded and couldnāt even speak š¤š³ Iām 38 years old and know how to use a computer and by the way have been using it since before you were born!!! Excuse me for being a mother and wanting a receipt to make it easier to write in my checkbook, to save me time later going to gmail. Emailed receipts are good for somethings but when Iām out of town I like it in my hand. I canāt believe the customer service! Especially after we have spent a lot of money throughout the years. The suits are well made and great quality but they need to improve their service. From what I just read online the employees only make $5 hr plus 3% commission. On three separate occasions, I found myself waiting extensivelyā20 to 30 minutes each timeābefore a salesperson was available to assist me, even though there were only two other customers in the whole shop. I even made eye contact with a few employees and raised my hand but none seemed to want to assist me. I stood around in plain sight and saw them walk to other customers This persistent delay, combined with a lack of proactive service, speaks about fundamental issue with their customer service approach.
In one particularly frustrating instance, I tried on a suit and needed to discuss the fitting with a salesperson. However, the salesperson vanished for 20 minutes while the entire store was empty. Eventually, I decided to take the suit in its unsatisfactory condition and call it a day.
It took me around three months to receive the suit, and when it finally arrived, it was a disaster. The alterations were poorly done despite paying well above the market rate. Despite returning to the store multiple times to address these issues, the alterations were never properly corrected. The lack of resolution, coupled with the staffās indifferent attitude, has been particularly frustrating.
Additionally, the staff exhibited a concerning level of rudeness and disrespect in their interactions. The tone and manner in which they addressed me were dismissive, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere.
Overall, this shopās service does not align with the quality one would expect, especially given the premium pricing. I would strongly advise potential customers to consider alternative options where their concerns are handled with the professionalism and respect they deserve.
