I had a pushpin and collar fall out of my watch. I'm a college student and didn't bring my toolkit with me to fix it myself. I needed my dress watch for rush rounds and could not wait for my parents to mail me my tools from home. So, I submitted a repair request with Van Atkins Jewelers. Within a day of submitting the request online, Van texted me and and asked to set up a time. He was very professional and we were able to find a time that did not conflict with my classes. I rode my bike to their extremely convenient location and he had my watch fixed within five minutes of me entering the store. I highly recommend Van Atkins Jewelers to all of my fellow Ole Miss students who may have issues with their jewelry, and even more so to those of us who live on campus and don't have a car with them. I have written this review before. But it was removed without merit. I was charged $850 for "sent off" watch repair that never happened. When I brought the watch back in, I was assured it would be sent back to a "place in Texas." Two months later, I had to go back to the store to find my watch sitting on a mechanic winder behind the register. I was promised again it would be "sent off." Again, I waited several months with no watch and no call. I have asked the owner Van Atkins to provide proof of second party repair which he refuses. This is the worst sort of customer service and communication. I'm out nearly a thousand bucks for nothing. Don't be fooled. Van's promises are empty...

I have no jewelry experience. Van at Van Atkins on the Oxford square made it very approachable for me and set a new bar for my customer service expectations. He was patient with our questions and dedicated to making our jewelry and our experience perfect.

He and the team were completely accessible in every sense of the word and communicated via calls, emails, and texts each step of the way.
