Haue Valley — Attraction in Pacific

Through our search for an indoor/outdoor, rustic, wooded venue, Patrick and I stumbled on Haue Valley in June of 2015. We toured the venue in the pouring rain and it was still absolutely stunning. It could not have been a more perfect find.

From Day 1, Kristin and Dana were amazing. They were quick to answer any questions we had, and checked in with us throughout our many months of planning. The property itself is gorgeous, but the resources this venue offers are equally incredible. Upon booking, we were given a packet which included FAQ, sample reception layouts, measurements for the tables and rooms, and more. There were multiple “Open Houses” held every few months to give any booked brides a chance to re-visit, walk around, play with ideas, ask questions, etc. We were even able to bring our photographer and videographer with us to scout the farm.

They offered a “borrow closet” where we could use anything we wanted for our wedding - as long as we left something behind for the next bride. This was HUGE for us. We were able to use so many things: lanterns, wood rounds, burlap runners, signs, votive holders, and the list goes on. All of these items are cataloged on their website by number, and we were able to pick everything out weeks ahead of the big day. The day of the wedding, everything was pulled and ready for us on a cart. I can’t even begin to explain how helpful this was to our out-of-town family that had never been to the venue but needed to decorate. Amazing.

On the day of the wedding, the staff was so incredibly helpful. They helped with the setup of tables and chairs, helped our family decorate, shuttled the bridal party on the Gator when we encountered a muddy spot during photos, kept the fireplace roaring, and watched to make sure the candle lit for our loved ones in heaven stayed lit the entire night.

We can’t even begin to express our gratitude to this family business. To say we had a pleasant experience is an understatement. Our day was perfect and magical, and our guests were blown away by everything about it. We are so fortunate to have found Haue Valley, and they will hold a special place in our hearts every time we look back on...

Words cannot describe how wonderful our wedding day was at Haue Valley! From our very first interaction with Kristin and her staff to the day it all became real, we were so pleased with how incredibly kind and helpful they were. They go out of their way to accommodate their couples and I'm immensely thankful for that. We had a lot of moving parts, multiple caterers, very hot weather, etc. and Kristin made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding! It was a unique experience in that we had an American wedding with some Indian elements and it took a lot of coordinating to pull it together. Because our day was SO perfect, I've listed out all the reasons why I would HIGHLY recommend Haue Valley.

1. Kristin and the staff. Enough said.
2. The borrow closet. We saved so much money by simply going to Open Houses and planning our decor ahead of time.
3. The lower patio makes for absolutely stunning pictures and scenery.
4. Graze catering is TO DIE FOR. This is one of Haue Valley's preferred caterers. I honestly had wedding guests raving about the food weeks later.
5. Open houses. Take advantage of these to show the venue to friends/family and plan your decor ahead of time! You can go multiple times if you need to.
6. Very reasonable pricing for the rustic charm it has to offer.
7. Quick response time. Any time I reached out to the staff with questions, I always received a response within 24-48 hours.
8. This one was big for me. It didn't feel like a stuffy, corporate event. It felt relaxed, comfortable and FUN. Our wedding day was meaningful and memorable. We spent a lot of money on it and our guests had a fantastic time! But by no means was it the fanciest wedding you've ever been to and that's exactly what we wanted. We served donuts and ice cream at the end of the night and it was perfect.
9. The NATURAL BEAUTY of the farm. If you haven't seen it in person, GO. Pictures simply don't do it justice.
10. Lastly, because I can't say it enough - Kristin. She will do everything in her power, within reason, to make sure your day is exactly what you hoped...

Our wedding was on May 4th, 2018. There is one word to sum up Haue Valley: phenomenal. If anyone asked for my recommendation, Haue Valley would be my one and only choice! Kristin, Dana, and their amazing team go above and beyond to ensure that everything (and I mean everything) runs smoothly and perfectly. We called Haue Valley numerous times prior to our wedding date with a multitude of questions. They stop and take their time to make you feel like you are the only wedding they have booked. They are so personable, patient, and you know you can ask them anything. Also, they are honest and very open (no surprises!). The farm is absolutely beautiful and we have outstanding photographs near the lake, waterfall, & bridge. Every backdrop for photos will leave you in awe when you receive your photographs/videography back. The borrow closet is a money saving opportunity, which was a huge plus for us. We were able to create beautiful centerpieces for each table using their items that previous brides have donated. This really sets them apart from other venues that we looked at. Kristin, Dana, and their team work seamlessly with their recommended vendors. They were in contact with my caterer before I was to let them know the timeline for the wedding day (amazing & stress-free for me)! Also, booking the liquor service, my photographers, and my DJ/Videography company was easy because of all of their recommendations on the Haue Valley website. Further, they provide you with easy-to-access important information, and if you are a type-A bride like me, you will enjoy all of their tips and tricks that they offer to you to make wedding planning stress-free. Lastly, I love and admire them for always making Haue Valley the best that it can be. They are always improving their venue as each wedding passes. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, I cannot stress to you enough that you have found your place!! The only thing I wish is that I could relive my wedding day over and...
