So I'm at almost a loss for words! Myself and my 2 daughters decided to go out and eat to celebrate a birthday.we walked in and sat down.i shortly realized not even 1 of the staff were wearing a mask.it was getting late and we were hungry so I decided to tough it out.when the young waitress came to the table I ask her to please stand back a bit as not to breath above us and she was a bit rude..shortly after the owner ed fogelback came to the table and told us there was no mask mandate in Franklin co and ask what the problem was ..I responded with can you please step back a little as I need my space.he was at the edge of the table as if to say he didn't respect my space.he went on to say we could get our food to go.i told him my kids dad passed in January from covid and I was totally shocked by his decision to be so irresponsible. Most all other restaurants are being responsible and having space to distance and require a mask for staff.he responded with a rude tone and said HIS customers liked it like that..well ed, that is why we are in the spot as a country we are.he is the kind of person that makes it hard for other businesses owners who are being responsible not because they have to but because they care about other's safety and is doing there part to help with the pandemic.i would hope people will stand up and let him know he should do his part..in response to ed the owners comment he just posted.his comment was a total lie.i left a tip on the table.but, what can you expect from an individual to say that is so selfish and irresponsible. Also ed, I did wear a mask except to eat and drink, and as far as using a tragedy.? The waitress went and got you after I ask her to please step back a bit so as not to be breathing on us.you came over with a rude attitude immediately and ask what was the problem so I expressed my concern. It's a good thing your not in law enforcement anymore since you definitely do not care to be honest or do you care to help contribute to keep people ...
Read moreFor being in a country Franklin county (PACIFIC) at that 🤣😂its actually really amazing, delicious, Mexican food. It reminds me of being in Mexico not in Michoacán more like samora or Cancun but still very good Reminds me in being close to Mexico. The service was the great, The serving staff is mostly male waitress which of course I have no problem with it besides when they are, very flirtatious and quite disrespectful and also not realizing that a lot of us know Spanish so they go about with their conversations talking about the woman i am with and wonder why they get no respect from me and a big enough tip to maybe they comprehend that I understand every disrespectful comment you make being i am Puerto Rican and you don't disrespect a man like that. Whatever country you come from so if $1.50 is good enough for you every time I come in there so be it. Learn some manners!!!! Actually I like the restaurant a lot but it's coming to the point where I'm not going to send service there no more. I go in there with my family, my mother and my sister and my daughter and friendly disrespecting women in my life like that. What? They have serve comments that they make one of my end of getting popped in their job eventually. So it's probably better off. I don't go and you losing a person that went twice a week with a nice group of people and if I start telling half these American people that don't understand the language what they're saying about their wife or the woman their wet might tend to lose a lot of business. So hopefully you guys read this and take control of this as soon as possible. Thank...
Read moreI am sad to make this review. I have had more than one experience since the ownership has changed that has been unsatisfactory. I have talked with the current owner more than once about the sliding service and quality of food. As someone that would eat here once or twice a month I am not saying service and quality is always bad. In fact, I have tolerated poor service and quality while convincing myself that it was just a bad day for the restaurant. But after the last three visits, talking with the owner in Walmart (Eureka), sending a kind message on Facebook messenger about my concerns with no response and finally walking out during my last visit (waiter rolled his eyes and took a deep breath of annoyance when asked for no beans with the meal and the hostess was rude when asked for a booth) I am talking a break from this restaurant. I will be taking advice from my friends and neighbors. I will be going to a restaurant in Eureka that I am told has the old owner of El Agave. Like I said, I am sad to drop this review on a Pacific restaurant. I live and am invested in the growth of this community. I hope things turn around for...
