Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Pacific

I tried to place an order to my house which they've delivered to many times before, they told me they couldn't do it so I agreed to pick it up instead, the girl on the phone proceeded to ask what I wanted and confirmed that it would take about 15 minutes to finish my order. When I arrived (it is the day of the blues playing for the chance at the final round to get into the Stanley cup, so I could understand maybe if they were busy, but they were dead and now I know why) I was told that they didn't have any orders and after the girl at the counter talked to her someone in the back they case, told me they never got any orders, and said they were sorry. I showed them that I called their location that I got from the website when one of the workers recognized that I called and asked if I was the delivery order, after saying yes she told me she NEVER GOT ANY FOOD ORDER FROM ME AT ALL after telling me the time it would take to cook then on the phone! No offer for a discount even though I was using a military discount already, or any sort of even a hint of compensation for their complete and utter lack of orderliness and conduct in the workplace. The employees handled the situation very terribly and had horrible attitudes when I insisted I was correct in calling and placing my order. Food was good. Customer service left a lot to be desired. Went to the bathroom before leaving. There was a large metal rack sitting on the floor blocking part of the walkway to the bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom, I hooked my foot on the rack and fell. Shin scraped, bruised arm and hand. A gentleman standing near by asked me if I was ok and helped me up. My husband didn't know I'd fallen until he saw my head come up. He ran over to see if I was ok. I showed him my shin at which point he went up to the workers and attempted to let them know what had happened. He was totally ignored. Not one member of the staff asked if I was ok, nothing. When my husband asked to speak to the manager he was told they were both store managers. Their lack of concern was appalling. The regional manager did reach out to my husband and wanted to know what had happened for future re-training. What a way to...

I rarely provide reviews, but this eating experience was so surprisingly pleasant that I felt that a review was mandatory. My gal & I were traveling home from vacation and were tired and hungry with an hours long drive still ahead & just needed something besides drive thru junk. We ended up at Pizza Hut off I44 in Pacific and were not only greeted with a friendly staff, but were mildly embarrassed at the over the top service. Not only was our order correct (a rare thing lately), but the quality of the pizza was noteworthy. The ingredients were fresh and hot and exceeded our expectations. Before getting back on the road, we both visited the bathrooms and found them both to be clean...again, another shocker. Too bad we live in Springfield, or we would definitely return...
