B&H Market — Local services in Pacific

I have been going to this market for many yrs since living in pacific for 16 yrs. I have NEVER had to bring my emotional support dog given per my dr.s approval to be able to take my 12 pd support dog anywhere I go. One bcuz it’s a grocery store so I try to respect other people. And one of the hottest days I had her with me and was just gonna run in and run out. But I was not going to let my small dog sit in a hot car for 5 mins it’s being so muggy and hot. This short petite man meets me at the door as I’m walking in and sternly says “you cannot bring that dog in here” and I reply”I have a letter stating that she can come with me!”And he has the nerve to ask me where my dog was trained, which is illegal to ask me anything about my service dog or if she was a service dog at all how she was trained, especially where she was trained, especially And I reply to him that is not OK for you to ask me that “it is actually illegal for him to ask me anything about my service hold on baby OK dog” and he says” no it’s not. “I don’t know if this is a manager but B&H just lost a dedicated customer that goes there at least a couple times a week on top of my families Business to them. I will just go to my nearest Walmart their meats not spoiled anyway that’s probably why my dog has been sick. I had to take back a couple packs of meat that smelled at B&Hnot too long ago, but I overlooked it not after this that man has poor customer service that’s for sure. I hope he is not the owner the way he talk to me. He probably wasn’t even a manager hopefully they were get better customer service and train their employees to treat customers the way they should be treated. I’ve never been so upset about a store in my whole entire life and like I said, I understand people don’t really care for dogs in grocery stores that’s why she’s never come with me before however it was hot out and I did have a doctors letter to show him, but he was just not having it. I will never go back...

I'm a new resident to the area and had my 1st visit to the store last night. As soon as I walk in my kids were offered cookies from the deli. Not that I drink much but if I wanted to, I could have some wine while I shopped and trust me if I would have paid more attention to the cooler when I walked in, I would have after dealing with my 2 crazy toddlers in the store, lol. Oh also their carts are really cool for toddlers, you can fit 2 kids in the seat and they both get stearing wheels. They have an area for the husbands too where they can sit in the "Big Foot Truck" area and watch sports and have a beer or fountain soda or even coffee! They offer items for when you're counting pennies as well as more high end brands. And the cashiers were all extremely friendly. As long as I live in the area, I'll never go anywhere else. One more thing to mention.....the store...

This store is fantastic. B&H is the best stor this town has ever had. The prices are responsible and they have have awesome in store specials dayly. You never know what it will be next. The staff is always really nice. The meat department is amazing Mike and John and I don't know the other persons name but they are awesome. The special items they make are the best. There bratwurst they make are way better than the prepackaged name brandsyou can get. I find them way better than the other two big name stores in Eureka. The deli is fantastic too. Top choice deli meat cut the way you want it. The staff in the deli is top notch as well. They are alwas quick to help and I have never waited long for anything that I have ordered there.
