I’m sort of hijacking this review of Victoria Park in Palm Springs to vent, as I know no one will read this anyways.
Came here to eat the Albertsons rotisserie chicken, as I’ve started reviewing all grocery store tissys. This series has sort of started taking off on Tiktok, and it’s just a little overwhelming. I don’t really know why.
I’ve been posting on Tiktok for about a year and a half now, and went from 7k followers to 17k in a few days due to this series. 17k still really isn’t anything in the grand scheme of things, but idk. It has me in a weird headspace.
Part of it is I finally got some traction, and I don’t want to fall off. Part of it is my Tiktok account getting flooded with notifications makes me anxious. Part of it is I feel weird talking about it with my friends and family, as Tiktok to them is just like a little kid thing. Idk. I’m kinda proud but also kind of embarrassed in the same breath. Part of it is I’m 29 years old and still feel like I have nothing figured out. I’m unhappy with my full time job, and thought I’d have a full blown career and family at this point.
I’m genuinely such a passionate person in general, and would love to do something I’m passionate about full time. I feel like I’d be unstoppable.
Am I the chicken guy now? I guess so lmao. I just have such a love for food in general, as you can really get to know a culture through their food. People light tf up over food.
I don’t write this to make it seem like I’m somebody, I’m obviously not at all. I’m just trying to vent. Trying to figure myself out. Prob should’ve just kept this one in the journal, but here we are.

Read moreI have loved this place since we moved here, and now it's even better than before. It's always clean and free of unsafe items. I've been there when it's quite crowded and no one has ever been mean or bothered my son and I. They just put brand new equipment in and it's awesome, we played for two hours the other day and it was so fun, even in 104 degree heat. Thank you so much for working so hard on the playground. Those people had that new equipment up in no time. All of the parks in this community are actually very nice and clean and friendly. I truly appreciate the people who make sure it stays that way. Also I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here to ground yourself. The grass is real, thick and it feels so good to sit with...
Read moreThis is a great park for all ages of humans, and their dogs. The grass is always glowing and taken care of, they have sprinklers that go on towards late evening that are fun to play in or to keep cool. They renovated the entire playground area recently and it's very colorful and has more physical activity to it. It can be challenging for the little ones as it's mainly hard bar climbing, and requires strength and coordination. Perfect for practicing though and if not there're other activities, such as a push around spinner, reg swings & disability swings & two ppl swings and different sizes of slides. They did remove the tire swing and replaced the hard flooring...
