The Adriatic Resort — Hotel in Palm Springs

This motel is the worst place we have stayed, ever!

It was filthy. We had to get the bedding changed on our bed. It looked like some one had shed their entire skin through the bed, and all over the room. They hadn't changed the sheets, or vacuumed. If we hadn't already put our kids to bed we would have left. There were pubic hairs in the bed also. The staff made out like it was the strangest thing, ever, and that the sheets mustn't have been washed at the laundromat. There is no way you could have made that bed and not realised there was dry, over-tanned skin flakes (if that's what it was, I can't fathom it!) all over the sheets.

My husband checked out for us in the morning. He waited and waited in reception for them, ringing the bell, finally the 'boyfriend' comes out, obviously just waking up (at 9am). My husband was just walking out, and told him to stuff it (he was waiting for the refund they offered). We realised we'd left things in the fridge so he went back to get it. The staff still didn't offer him the discount, they barely even acknowledged him, just gave him the key. They eventually rang and left a message on my phone saying they'd give us a 10% refund. The room cost us $150 for the night, they could not pay me to stay there!

As well as that, the pool was filthy, the air conditioner was extremely loud and kept me awake half the night, the window screen was not attached, it was just leaning against the window, and the window sill had a thick layer of dirt covering it. I had to keep my children off the floor, as when they stood up they were covered in what ever it was that scattered all over the room, dried skin or something similar.

just received a phone call from a time share company and now I’m stewing over our treatment at The Adriatic Villa in Palm Springs. It’s a dump! The only residents that should be allowed to live there are the cockroaches. When I arrived at our timeshare in December 2918, I was met by a person who gave me the wrong gate key and I was locked out for 30 minutes when I unloaded my car. When I arrived in the room to get settled, the tv wasn’t working, the room was dusty and smelly. There was one spoon in the drawer. No can opener, corkscrew or coffee pot! There was no personnel around and the office and restaurant were closed during my stay. The pool was not heated and I left two days early because the place became unbearable. I heard about BILLY REEDS restaurant in Palm Springs, near The Adriatic Villas resort. I stopped in last night for dinner. The menu is great & so are the prices. I chose the prime rib which was perfect, it came with a generous salad, garlic toast but I could have had soup, mini loaf corn or banana bread. I added a glass of wine and the bill was only $29.00 for all. As I was leaving I spoke to the gentleman at the counter to let him know all was great - it was Billy Reed himself!!
