Avoid this store, despite the manager Clara Perdomo trying to delete my review numerous times, this is a recap:
Purchased a spinning globe charm from this store and within 4 days the globe detached from the charm. I returned to the store within a week requesting a refund because a replacement of the same charm will likely break off again. It was then when I had the displeasure of having to deal with the sorry excuse for a store manager Clara Perdomo, she spoke very poor English (almost illiterate) and could not even pronounce the word "used." Anyways she denied me the refund and said only an exchange was possible, I again mentioned if I get the same exact charm it may likely break just like the first one. It was then when she said my broken charm was technically "used" and that all items taken back must get resold in the store and that she cannot resell broken items. I once again convinced her to put herself in my shoes, and instead she only agreed with he when I said "all sales must be final at this location"
Days later I contacted Pandora corporate office in Maryland for assistance. They apologized and had me document all the managers information and encounter. Pandora even mentioned this is not a company store and instead a franchise which usually hires the lowest common denominator as a store manager. Luckily Pandora is in the process of changing some locations to company stores to provide better quality to the customers. Pandora HQ sent me directly a refund check for the amount of the broken charm as even after Pandora HQ reached out to the store, the sorry excuse for a manager Clara Perdomo would not assist further.
There is a reason this Pandora store is the lowest-rated Pandora location in Miami Dade, it is because of people like Clara Perdomo. I also find it alarming that Clara said all jewelry taken back in the store always gets resold (wouldn't this be a hygiene issue?)
The only positive thing I will give this store was my salesperson Erica was very nice and took her time to show me the various charms they had. I am definitely late to the game when it comes to being a Pandora owner but about a year ago my husband bought me my first charm. I went to this location to get a bracelet. I was attended to by a lovely young lady named Alejandra. She took the time to look through all the bracelets and give me a rundown of how to care for my jewelry. Well, I was hooked. But not just because the jewelry is beautiful and unique, but it is the attention to detail and warm welcome I receive time and time again from Alejandra. She will reach out to me when items she knows I’ll like come in or during their special events and holiday sales. Read moreWas there about 2 months ago, the girl who helped me was very friendly and she helped me pick cute earrings. Only problem is one of the hoop earrings already broke! It won’t click back up like its pair and it’s pretty much useless. I don’t remember Pandora being such low quality, I guess it’s time to see bye and move on to other retailers.
Update: I was so infuriated by my experience I actually forgot to update this. So per their comment below I brought the earrings back to see what could be done. I was attended by a rude and unpleasant girl that managed to click the hoops back after twisting them and forcing them to close. While they did click, I’m not about to try and twist them like that when I’m trying to put them in my ear. Needless to say, she essentially told me that nothing could be done because I wore them and better luck next time! Can you imagine buying broken jewelry and then being blamed for it?! The manage was not any better but at least she was able to get me a new pair and here is the kicker, it took two months for them to ship to the store. Definitely never buying...
