Read moreWhen this @Goodwill store opened about 10+ years ago, it was a great place to shop for clothes and household goods at superb prices not to mention the more superb finds, but up to about three years ago, just after hurricane Irma, everything went downhill with the hurricane. Suffice it to say, the quality, quantity and type of donations became substandard, and at the same time, at higher prices. However, what was more devastating for this high traffic bonus store, was that the goons in the corner office decided to transfer the Manager, Carlos and his happy staff to some other #Goodwill store.
Nevertheless, although the bunch all spoke spanish and some sprinkling of English, the store was popping with goods and people, deserving, at a five star level. As the old saying goes, why fix what works? Now, the store is a complete mess, as the new incompetent manager decided to make her mark and added her changes to the layout of the store, for example, you have to search among the regular clothing to find plus size stuff, if any. I looked through litterally every pair of jeans on that rack to find the one pair of 22s. Now i know my size very well i am actually between a 20 and a 22 so as i am so excited to buy these jeans i walk over to the register and pay for them. When i got home i went to put them on to discover that not even my calf would fit through the right leg of the jeans. And thats when i noticed I had bought a pair of teenage sized 22 jeans... I am livid! I dont care if you are goodwill and understaffed. If u want to run a business you need organization and employees who actually organize. I wasted my entire day going to marshalls, TJ max, old navy, and finally finding what i thought was a success at Goodwill. This was a huge upset. I jumped around on buses all day for this to go horribly wrong. Goodwill does NOT, organize nor care about the presentation of their stores! I am appalled at this store for its...
