It's a very small quaint Park but we love it. I will absolutely Miss Palmetto so much. I grew up in Fairburn as a kid when Shannon mall was still out there in Union City and I never thought that life's journey would take me back to Palmetto along with my child but it did, to the Georgia Baptist Family and Children's hiring under the single mothers program and I will also miss that place as well. It's so safe, they help you and it's just a big blessing and I realize that more and more and now that I'm sitting in a hotel not knowing what I'm going to do after this week. This is very hard but I have to trust in God that everything happens for a reason and it will take me where I'm supposed to go oh, did I mention that my brakes are also going out on my car all of the sudden? I'm battling to get to work, to get my brakes fixed in the still get him to daycare when my job is literally three minutes from where we are staying but I have to find a new daycare but I don't know if we're going to be living in Douglasville or Carrollton. Either way this heart is so cute and it's very close to where we lived so I would take my son here often because it has slides for kids that are under 4 years old. Things are not too big Kate it also has a really big field for playing any kind of sport, tennis courts, grills and two small Pavilion Pavilions where you can cook out and across the street is a Freemason Lodge and that's how I found it because I have family members that go to the Lodge. Like I said, the toy section and the playground is not big at all but it's literally perfect for kids under 4! Are 9 year old neighbor went with us and she...
Read moreIt's just a small part but to be so small, it's got some pretty big features. My son who is almost 3, he has a blast. They have covered, picnic table areas where you can cook out, the grill is there, it's a very big grill that is built in. There's no swings oh, there is a walking Track around the whole park oh, there are benches where you can sit and there's also a tennis court but I don't know if you need a special key to get in the tennis court or not but I wouldn't think so. It has slides, one of those bars you hold onto and glide to the other side, rock climbing wall, and a lot of other neat stuff that the kids just really like. There are two slides right beside each other and those would be appropriate for the younger children but this playground is really not for kids under 1 or 1.5 years old. That's my opinion but it's close to the house and he likes it! I like it because it's so big, there's a big field of grass and it's actually pretty, maintained grass and you can put a little t-ball set out there and do all kinds of things, play...
